Comfortable store in Twickenham

“I bought a Carerra bike for my son last week from Halfords in Twickenham (Ivy Bridge), and received great service. I went back a few days later to enquire about fitting a gear guard or derailer cover to the bike. Other staff members were not sure it was possible as they had not fitted one before to that bike. However Johno attended to me and went to look at the derailer of the same bike ion display in the store and worked out the best way to fit a gear guard on. As I walk with a crutch, and my son’s bike was in the car, Johno offered to come out to the car and fit gear guard to the cycle while it was still in the car. What brilliant service and Johno is a real credit to the organisation as nothing was too much trouble.”

“Lauris was quick to respond to my messages and come round and quote for my new wardrobe. Its the first time I have had a bespoke built in wardrobe and I am so pleased with the results. Edgar came to install and didn't leave until the job was done even though it was late at night. His attention to detail was great and the quality of the wardrobe is clear. “A wonderful gem of a place. Coffee/tea/hot chocolate and so much more. All expertly made by the very handsome gentleman. It’s lovely to see someone who takes so much care in what they do. The coffee is amazing. Love that Niall can tell you everything about his coffee and where it comes from. He takes great care with sourcing all his ingredients. He will make sure you’re happy with your cuppa and goes the extra mile. His toasties are fantastic and so tasty!! There’s always something delicious to try. It’s so lovely to be able to sit down and enjoy your meal/coffee surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers. Four leaf is set in a family run garden centre right next to the train station. Such a gorgeous place to sit and relax.”

“The coffee and the texture of the oat milk in my flat white was flawless. I love the interior design and the beautiful cups, plus the staff are friendly and served the coffee with a smile! The location is ideal next to the river, and my dog was welcome too. The only downside is that the tables/ space are quite cramped. I wouldn't recommend sitting in - after all, less than 100m down the road are benches by the river.”

She gave us space to browse but was quick to help when we needed it. Her approach was perfect - asking questions to understand our needs and showing relevant items without any pressure to buy. “Great, unusual cuisine and lovely food. Ever since Soul opened, we have been coming for breakfast, brunch and dinner and have never been disappointed. The food is really unique, using ingredients like jackfruit, and very healthy. Recommend the avocado and the roast cauliflower among other dishes. The wine selection is quite impressive. Lovely service and team. We’re fast becoming regulars for sure.”

“Very nice. The coffee is a reasonable price, and very good quality - it doesn't taste like a dark roast so there is lots of room for the lighter flavours to come out. The staff are lovely. Unusual armchairs to sit in, or more traditional seating towards the back. Lots of accompanying food is offered, with gluten-free options available. It's so much better than a chain brand - and independent businesses are worth supporting. My cappuccino was £2.40. Loyalty cards are available. This could well be my favourite coffee in central Twickenham since The Coffee Lab closed down. Well worth a visit.”

“My daughter has attended for over a year now and absolutely loves it. Her development is helped so much by being there and she regularly surprises me with how capable she is in doing things thanks to the nursery activities. They do lots of fun activities but also very practical ones like cooking, prepping vegetables, personal hygiene, using scissors etc. Knowing how happy and content she is really helps with my mum guilt. It may not be the flashiest nursery in the area but for caring for the kids and delivering a good experience, you can't get better.”
