“I couldn't recommend Wellingtons enough. My little one started at just 5 months old, and now he's almost 2 — with another baby on the way! I have absolutely zero worries about starting our next baby even earlier if I need to. Some people might be put off by the idea of a larger nursery with lots of children in the building — please don't be. The size has never taken away from the individual care and attention our child receives. Honestly, I don't think there are enough words to express how much easier Wellingtons has made life for our family. You cannot put a price on the peace of mind that comes from knowing your child is safe, loved, and genuinely cared for as if they were their own. It's a truly genuine business, run by genuine people who care not only for the children but also for their parents. That ethos shines through from the apprentices right up to Jo & Joss in management. A special thank you to Jasmeen, Laura, and Hayley — they warm my heart every single day with their updates and the kindness they show us at drop-off and collection. We feel so, so lucky to have them. They are an absolute credit to the nursery.”

“Our daughter (now in year 8) has been at Edge Grove since year 6 having spent all her previous schooling in the French system. We joined the school at a time when the new headmaster, Me Evans, was still putting in place his vision, but we felt that he knew exactly what he was wanting to do, and we completely bought into that vision. We have not been disappointed. The pastoral care has been first rate, particularly helping our daughter in the transition to a British Independent school. From what we have seen, any pastoral issues are dealt with speedily and sensitively. Great emphasis is put on politeness and creating the right environment for learning, whilst enjoying everything that the school has to offer. The education curriculum is innovative, supportive and stretching, and the school is doing a fantastic job of supporting all year 8 pupils in preparation for CE, truly differentiating based on the schools they are applying to and the exams they will be taking. Extra-curriculum activities are great too - the Director of Music is fantastic and the improvement in the quality of all school music activities has been marked, while the head of girls' games is really raising the bar too. Staff go beyond what one might expect and respond rapidly and helpfully to any questions or concerns. The parent community is friendly and welcoming. The school certainly deserves its recent rating of Excellent in all regards from the Independent Schools Inspection. I highly recommend the school to any prospective parent.”

“Having been to the U18 Football, Don Davis, and fight4change boxing sessions, The Black Prince Trust is definitely one of the best places for fitness, especially for young people like me aged around 13 - 16. The pitch is quite decent and the boxing gym has a lot of equipment for training. The coaches are also extremely passionate in not only the sport, but also in supporting and inspiring adolescents to get fit and make new friends. Don Davis boxing is on from 4:30 to 5:30, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and the fee is £1.50, however the fight4change boxing sessions, football and basketball session are free. My technician was so thorough with my nails and really careful/considerate with my natural nails making sure they were all even with the BIAB (even my tricky misshaped nail). “I went into my local holland and Barrett store yesterday around closing time and was in quite a rush because working in the center as well I am aware that when it’s time to close, the staff have plenty of other things they had to do before leaving (as did myself). I was a little panicky and uncertain of the exact product/quantity I needed and was assisted by an amazing lady named Oshin! Her service was excellent — not only was she patient with my request and questions but she also gave extensive info on what I asked for and showed me alternatives too. “I cannot recommend this pharmacy enough. I've switched pharmacies twice from my two local ones to Courts. My only regret is that I wish I had done it sooner and saved myself a bunch of grief. Courts are super friendly, and helpful, always answer their phone if I call before, and ALWAYS have everything I need in stock. Having two small children, knowing that I can rely on Courts gives me the greatest peace of mind. Bonus: I often have my children with me to pick up prescriptions and I have never been made to feel unwelcome which is more than what I can say for other pharmacies nearby. Cannot fault this place at all. Simply a great Pharmacy.”

“If you want your child nurtured, looked after, encouraged to grow and learn in a safe and secure environment, Kintore Way is all of this and much, much more. Having had 3 children attend, over a total period of 12 years, we could not be happier with the care they have all received alongside the invaluable support and advice that we as parents have received over the years from all of the staff, from nappy training to food fussiness, their advice is always well informed and offered both freely and kindly. In terms of continuity, we are amazed that many of the staff caring for our 2 year old daughter today, are the same staff who looked after our (almost) 13 year old son from the age of 7 months in the baby unit (now closed). This is a clear indication, in an industry renowned for a high turnover of staff, that this is good place to work, that staff enjoy caring for the children, take immense pride in the huge roles that they play in the children’s development and also that management understand the value of this team, that they support and encourage them. This comes across in the welcoming friendly atmosphere that is always present at Kintore Way. The facilities are secure, spotlessly clean and well maintained, the garden area is always used to its full potential, the children have a wide choice of activities to undertake both indoors and outdoors and are encouraged to do so. Any achievements , however big or small, are praised and always recognised. My daughter loves it as much today as her brothers did 13 years and 7 years ago, it’s part of our family story, even I attended nearly 4 decades ago! I could go on……. but in summary, if you are looking for an amazing nursery, with the most caring, loving, encouraging and professional staff, who take pride in their role nurturing and preparing your child for the next step of their journey into education, primary school, you’ve found it.”
