The owner's dedication to authenticity and customer service is evident, and I was even more impressed when they personally delivered my order to me after I accidentally opt for collection. “A friend came to visit us in the UK and we decided last minute to have dinner nearby. Saw this place had good Google reviews so we gave it a try. The dining area was nice and quiet, perfect for catching up and chatting. We went for the weekday set menu (£18.50 for three courses) and honestly, every dish was way better than expected – really tasty and nicely done. For the price, it was such a great deal. Super happy with the meal and would definitely come back!”

“I used to come here every sunday night after training with the group of friends before covid and a series of lockdowns. These friends knew this pub and the landlord for many-many years. Lockdown has bloody killed this pub, unfortunatly. I was in the area and poped to this place to check ot out. I am glad that I found it open again and fully functioning under new ownership. But this once fully packed place was absolutely empty, only staff and the owner. I want and I wish this place be busy and brimming with people and life again as it once was. Wishing lots of luck to the staff and its new owner.”

“I always come here with my fiance ever since I found a hair in Hot House Pizza's pizzas. They never disappoint. I highly recommend Door 2 Door pizza. Very respectful men and boys. They take a little long but it's worth the wait, amazing food. Never disappoints. I haven't had a bad experience with these guys. I absolutely love them. I always get my pizza from them! In addition, the wings were cooked to perfection, slid right off the bone. Absolutely beautiful.”

“As surprised as I am, I have to give 5 stars! It was a great stay, considering it is a 3 star, budget hotel. Rooms were very clean, a bit tired but spotless. The carpet must have been laid out recently because it was still fluffy and soft. I loved the idea of open space underneath the bed as you can easily hoover under and there is no old dust lingering there. There was no musty smell in the rooms and the corridors smelled of fresh cleaning procucts. Our daughter praised the comfort of the kids bed (no springs digging in her body). The food was good, both dinner and breakfast, small buffet but sufficient enough for warm and cold options. I forgot to mention the welcome card on our desk and 2 christmas colouring cards for our daughter which is some serious 5 star hotel add on :) It wasn't perfect but it was surprisingly quiet for a full capacity and we enjoyed our stay throughoutly.”

Paid a few hundred £s for a high end chair that is over £1k new and it was in such good condition too. “Very good location of the coffee shop inside the Morrisons market, with a car parking. Wheelchair people are welcome too because they have facilities to come inside and the shop is wide. Breakfast, lunch, coffee, tea and snacks all day. The staff are lovely.”
