“Really recommend Becky and her team for starting or continuing pole dance. I’ve been to a few pole schools in London and the South East, and haven’t had the same welcoming and community feeling as I have with Becky and team. I joined in Jan 2020 just before the pandemic, so only had a short time before moving online (then back in studio again) but Becky handled the transition so well and made everything as easy as possible. All 4 instructors are so friendly, patient and knowledgeable, coming to BB Pole Studio is my favourite part of my week”

“I have dined here several times and each time they never fail to amaze me. I introduced my Spanish friend to Somali food yesterday and she loved it. She has an open mind and excited to try foods from different cultures and loved her experience. I over-ate as usual lol because the food is absolutely delicious especially the green chilli sauce which I love, hot but tasty. “Sunday lunch, it was great. We had the combination plate (meat and veggie) for three people. There was a lot of food and it was all very good. We almost ate it all. The coffee is also really good. Definitely recommend it and would definitely go back again!”

Spicy rice cake , powerful, Jab Chae one of the best, Chicken bulgogi flavorful. Good value for money tasty plates. Each with a different flavour. Very polite service by staff. Good value. Simple deco. Shop targeting taste and value. One of the best Korean restaurants in London. Offers barbecue on tables. Definitely worth a visit.”

“I had a consultation with Mr Nick Hamilton for a throat issue. He specialises in throat issues and understood immediately what had been happening to my throat whereas other consultants had not. He was reassuring, a great listener and was very polite. I did not feel rushed and managed to talk about everything that was bothering me. I would thoroughly recommend Mr Nick Hamilton. Also to note, the staff were fantastic, accommodating and friendly.”

“My girlfriend and I decided to get tattoos while on vacation. Stopped in the Crystal Palace location and was greeted immediately. The staff was super friendly and attentive. Our Artists Eddy did a great job. He listened to what we wanted and when we came back to our appointment had great options for us to choose from. The design for my tattoo had much more detail than the initial draft. When he began to run over the time he quoted he told me I would not be charged extra. As time continued to pass he did not rush. Towards the end he even added in a few more small details and finishing touches to make it better. Through everything he was nice and very easy to talk to. His attention to detail and dedication to his art and clients is top notch. In the end I got much more than I paid for and left with amazing art. Definitely would recommend this shop if you are in the area and looking for great work in a comfortable atmosphere.”

“Wow.....What a fantastic meal! - the offer with First Table is exceptional value for money. We ate like royalty and did not hold back.....nibbles, starters, sushi and mains - everything was simply delicious!! I highly recommend the Tuna Tostadas to start, what an immense way to get your taste buds going - the tuna was so fresh and the lovely hint of heat from the jalapeños.....yum! Other highlights were the Red Prawn Truffle - so light and yet packed with intense flavours and also the Spicy Buttermilk Chicken Karaage - so crispy and juicy. The Black Miso Cod of course was a true delight, with that deep, rich flavour coming throb with each bite - the slight charring on the edges giving a nice texture. If you have room for dessert, the Passionfruit Creme Brulee was stunning, beautifully presented, served with little diced cubes of fruit and tasted sublime. To note, the service was impeccable - our server was friendly, attentive, helpful and genuine. The moment I stepped inside, the space felt warm and inviting — relaxed, stylish, and with a touch of homely Gulf charm that sets the tone for the entire meal. It’s the kind of restaurant where you instantly feel at ease. The food was the standout. I ordered the machboos, and it was exceptional — beautifully seasoned, aromatic, and full of depth without ever feeling heavy. Every bite had that comforting home-cooked quality, but elevated with precision and balance. You can clearly taste the chef’s roots and passion in the way each dish is put together. The service was also excellent. Staff were attentive without hovering, and genuinely friendly. They guided me through a few menu recommendations and checked in just the right amount. It made the experience feel personal rather than routine. Overall, this is one of the best Middle Eastern meals I’ve had in London. Authentic flavours, generous portions, a great atmosphere, and a team that really knows how to make guests feel welcome. I’ll definitely be returning.”

“We held a work party in the upstairs room at the Hospital Tavern and it was brilliant! The events manager was fantastically helpful, service was brilliant, and the selection of food and drink available was fab, we didn't scratch the surface of the equipment available (mics, lights, sound etc!) but what we used was great. The pub is in a great location and has a really friendly, fun vibe... also nice late opening hours!”

“What an iconic place that kept you engaged and SAFE the entire night. There are so many levels to explore, multiple rooms if you wanna change your dance mood, and the staff really encourages a safe and secure atmosphere where you felt you were free to just enjoy yourself. Only criticism is that is really hard to see the DJ in room 1.”

It was tricky to book as it's so popular but we got a table for lunch and decided to each have a different tasting menu so we could try everything on offer. The service was brilliant, the food was sublime. The offer of a cheese course before the desserts was very welcome, and the selection of cheeses was great.”
