“Charming restaurant less than 5 mins from Surbiton Rail station and opposite Sainsbury’s. The old Post Office building has been repurposed as a restaurant, fitted out in a sustainable way with genuine Turkish designs and materials. My server had a Masters in restaurant design so was knowledgeable and happy to point out some of the features. The coffee was excellent and the Nutella and sea-salt cookie was something I’d never tasted before and had a light and delicate texture. Good access for wheelchairs and my go to coffee stop in Surbiton when on foot or a motorcycle or bicycle with parking right outside the door.”

“Family favourite! We've been coming here for years and the food has always been good. We highly recommend the Lamb Shank Jalfrezi and the Tandoori King Prawn. But all the food is very good. We really appreciate that since the pandemic they haven't raised their prices and the food is still great quality. The service is always very good and thoughtful too. We will always rave about The Agra!”

“I went to this place before my shift finished to order some food and told the boy serving i would be back in 10-15min.It was quiet and The boy was serving on his own at the front (young boy, named Janes, sorry for misspelling). He was giving fast and friendly service and apparently also doing deliveroo orders! He had my food ready by the time i came back and he kept it warm on the side for me. Portioning was great! Nice detail to write “Enjoy” on the lid :)”

““I had the absolute pleasure of trying the Persian pizza at Village Pizza in Surbiton, and it was truly outstanding. This pizza took me straight back home with its nostalgic flavors and that special touch that only authentic Persian-style pizza can bring. The service was equally fantastic—especially the lady behind the counter, who I believe is the owner. She made the whole experience warm and welcoming. I can’t recommend Village Pizza enough if you’re looking for a delicious slice of something special. Five stars all the way!””

The ladies at S.S.Flowers were really helpful and one of them even helped me carry them down the road. They went above and beyond! Furthermore, the flowers were still blooming 3 weeks later. “Mr Walid and Lena are beautiful people and they serve delicious food. I have been coming here everyday for over a year and they honestly treat me so warm and friendly, like family. The food is fresh and seasoned to perfection. I often struggle with what to pick but I can never go wrong with the chicken Tawouk or chicken shawarma or the lamb kofte. No matter what you order it will be made to your liking and you will not regret giving their food a try. The service is fast and efficient. Everything is well worth the price! The food keeps me all day during my studies. I promise you will be a regular customer as I am for them. Stepping into the their establishment is one of the best decisions , I’ve ever made.”

“What a wonderful little restaurant! Despite having very high expectations due to all the great reviews, my family and I were still surprised at how great this place was. The sashimi pieces were lovely and thick, their signature rolls were delicious but our favourite was the udon (unfortunately not pictured as we were too busy slurping it up!)- the noodles were cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend this place for the delicious food and the lovely attentive staff!”

“All I can say is bellisima!! I have been wanting to try The Roasting for quite sometime. It is definitely worth the wait. The coffee was great and the pistachio croissant was absolutely fabulous. It’s one of the nicest pastries I had. The prices were also decent and affordable. Service is also great. The guy helped me to choose pastries by giving me an idea of what each of them were and he also gave me a drink recommendation. I will definitely come back to try the other stuff.”
