“We came here after an event and honestly it was amazing food and great service! The staff were so attentive to our needs and gave recommendations for the best totems on the menu. P.S. try out the Guava or Mango Jarritos drink, it’s really good!”

“I was on a mission to find the best Sunday Roast in London… and I found one! We shared a slow-cooked lamb leg between the two and it was absolutely delicious. All the trimmings were superb too, very full of flavour. We also got cauliflower cheese as a side. Will be coming back and bringing friends and family too. “Really lucky to call this place my local. You simply can’t beat the service here, rain or shine they’re always happy to serve because they genuinely care. Aside from the experience, the food is great and very affordable and made or order, and the coffee is freshly made and tastes incredible, they also often have a choice of blends too, to further suit your taste preferences. It’s really hard to go anywhere else and feel this level of hospitality! I will always return, whether it’s for a hangover-cure bacon bagel, or a quick brew before work in the week.”

“What looks both from the outside and the inside like a standard greasy spoon cafe in fact serves the most fantastic food For breakfast and lunch with a very friendly owner, a dedicated team of staff and is spotlessly clean. My veggie option for £10 had two poached eggs on mashed avocado on sourdough, old style baked beans, a piece of hash brown, mushrooms, halloumi and a good size fresh salad. Unbelievably good. My friend had roast beef and Yorkshire pudding and described it as absolutely perfect With the meat being very tender.”

“Really, really lovely pizza in the evenings. Possibly the best in the Crystal Palace / Penge / Beckenham area? Don't let the front of the shop fool you, there is a lovely dining area in the back with a live grape vine covering the ceiling. With the peak summer evening heat and some Europop being played it was almost like being on the Mediterranean! Seems like they prefer people to book in advance, but they accepted our unannounced group of five, and we all seriously enjoyed our food. Definitely going back.”

“Pistachios In The Park is simply one of the most charming, friendliest cafes that clearly takes no shortcuts in serving delicious food of the highest quality. Set in formal, tree-lined garden housing a naval burial site, playground and community centre, the cafe is ideallic for those who want a peaceful ambience. Make no mistake, due to its popularity, it can get very busy but you'll be spolied for choice with space as much as you will with what's on the menu. Ran by husband and wife team, Gary and Victoria and their wonderful team, you can rest assured you'll be met with a warm welcome, fun banter, and chit chat like youre one of the locals, (Even if you're not.) I personally come for the cooked full English breakfast but there is plenty of choice on offer! Everything from sweet pastries, more savoury snacks, all of which are homemade, delicious salads and variety of hot and cold beverages to wash it down with. All the staff are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. If you fancy something that might not be obviously on the menu, the team will endeavour to make it for you (within fair reason, of course) If you've not yet visited Pistachios in the Park cafe, and you want someting a little away from the regular side of Greenwich, with exemplary quality, this is your spot. You wont regret it!”

The pub itself is cosy and charming, with a lovely outdoor area that's perfect for enjoying a drink on a sunny day. It's also very family-friendly, making it a great spot for both casual dining and special occasions. Overall, The Horseshoes is a delightful place to unwind with great food, great company, and a great atmosphere. I definitely recommend it and we will come back soon.”

“If you are looking for a no frills room that is in a superb location, this hotel is for you. I only stayed one night for business. When I checked in I was feeling terrible and I arrived early. Check in wasn't for another hour, I was going to cancel my room and book at another Marriott since I have status and usually can check in early. The young lady working at the front desk was super helpful and saw that I wasn't feeling well, I didn't catch her name I wish I had because she sprung into action. She told me to have a seat and she was going to see what she could do to help. She was so kind and empathetic and was able to get me into a room quickly so I could rest. I appreciated that gesture beyond belief! The room was clean, no frills, just a bed, small bathroom and necessities. If you've ever stayed on a cruise ship, the rooms are exactly that of a cruise ship. The location is across the street from Victoria train and underground station with food and transportation. Even though it was only for one night, it was a wonderful experience with Marriott hospitality that makes me continue to be a loyal customer.”

“I had the most amazing stay here for my birthday. The hotel was unique with stunning decor - highly unusual but brilliant. The hotel had made every effort to recognise the occasion - the room was aptly decorated with balloons and a handwritten message on the mirror. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was nice - a lovely buffet selection. My dietary needs were catered for (gluten/dairy free). The hotel is situated in Islington - a very short walk to the canal. A morning walk along the canal to Canary Wharf and back along the Thames Path was the best start to the day! There are some beautiful spots along the canal to stop for a coffee or bite to eat - these are within a 5 minute stroll from the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel - it made a really nice change to stay somewhere a little different/unique.”

“We visited Flat Iron in London for a family lunch, and it was an absolutely lovely experience. The atmosphere was warm ,welcoming and perfect for a casual yet special meal. We tried the beef steak and the green chilli beef burger, and both dishes were delicious. The steak was tender, juicy, and cooked exactly as we ordered, with that signature Flat Iron flavour that never disappoints. The green chilli beef burger was a real highlight packed with bold, spicy flavours that added a nice kick without being overwhelming. A really nice touch was the complimentary freshly made popcorn served when we arrived, and the free vanilla ice cream cone at the end such a thoughtful way to round off the meal! The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout. Service was quick, and the overall vibe was relaxed, which made it perfect for a family lunch. We’ll definitely be coming back, value for money..Highly recommend.”

“Best curry in surrey we went this evening and had an amazing meal. Quiet time between Xmas and new year so had the place to ourselves but service was charming and unobtrusive. Had a lovely chat with the owner and his sister, the chef. The food was amazing! Great starters- Tandoori fish, spinach and kebabs but the star was the laal mas which had an incredible sauce with such a depth of flavour! Good value for money, good wine and we have already booked to go back in Jan and take friends.
