“My favourite ironmonger. Everything is well laid out, the shop is always spotless and gleaming, the prices are marked and the staff very knowledgeable and helpful. I have been coming here for cleaning products, lubricating oils, paints, tools, lamps, lights, bulbs, wicks, naphtha, chimney flue cleaners, fixtures, fittings and batteries - probably more stuff than that which I've forgotten . . . like really, really long matches! “Honest, professional and kind service! I had to replace my door lock, so I needed a new one and some tools to do it. Since I have no Idea which lock to buy or what to do, I visited many hardware stores and even so I had pictures of my old lock none of them wanted to help or even give advice on which lock to buy, they where trying to over charge me, and they all asked to first bring my old lock and then give me a substitute. The gentleman in Neasden Hardware, was very nice and helpful, he gave me a similar lock to my old one and the right tool for my budget to fix it. And he even told me that If the lock doesn’t fit correctly I can bring it back and get another one, no extra charges needed. And he did all of this without me complaining or telling him my life story, which indicates thoughtfulness and honesty! Rare qualities in businesses these days. Highly recommend!”

“I've given this five star rating as I have been into various of the Leyland branches and the service has been ok but this Hammersmith branch stands out.. I was really pleased with the service I got recently when I visited. There was a staff member of Paul really got me out of a pickle on two fronts, first one was with my kitchen plumbing. After showing him some photos of my problem he was there giving constructive suggestions to resolve my problem. Of which when I got back home the tips and the products he said to use worked a treat!! And lastly he help me with the process of installing shelving in my home, I was quite nervous to do it myself but gave it a go with his recommendations and good product knowledge made me feel confident to do it myself. He not only didn't rush through the his guidance but showed great enthusiasm in his what he was doing. I will definitely be coming back here again and I'll be telling people I know to come back here.. especially if they need plumbing advice! Youra sincerely George.”
