“An Authentic English Pub! This is a real English pub! With more than 300 years of history it has many stories to tell. Highway men drank at this pub. WWI wounded Aussies at the local hospital drank at this pub. Royalty visited this pub. It has real history! Low ceilings. Cosy sitting areas. Well stocked bar. Sunday lunch was excellent! Real pub food! Roast lamb and veg was as good as it gets. But what makes this pub stand out is the people. Wonderful serving staff. Bar manager was attentive, calm, talking effortlessly to every guest. Every one there was a local. Elderly people in their 80’s having a traditional Sunday roast. Listening to the locals was a pleasure. Endless stories. Lots of laughter. These are the real English people you won’t get in a fancy London pub. This is a pub where you are welcome. Just when you think it can’t get any better an “Arthur Daly” lookalike turned up and took over the conversation!!! THE KINGS ARMS IS A GREAT ENGLISH PUB! Worth the visit!”

“I used to hang out here a bit with family and friends in my tweens, teens and twenties; when you lived in Hillingdon in the 70's and 80's, a visit to Denham offered you a window on a beautiful 'other' world! The Falcon is still a great place to drink, and, sitting on the Green outside, with a glass of wine on a sunny day was just about perfect.”

The food is excellent, a balance of traditional English pub food and Asian cuisine that are perfect. Drinks prices are probably the best around and you can sit around the fire or tuck yourself away on the sofa. Highly recommended.”

Recently: The coffee is very good. It looks like the prices have gone up a little, but still hard to beat on speed, quality and price for similar.”

“Great little place in the heart of Uxbridge. Great menu and great vibe. Really enjoyed my time here and was pleased with the food service and quality. I ordered a mix of tapas food they had added newly on their menu. Everything was very delicious. Couldn’t fault it. My brother and sister and niece all enjoyed their food too. “I really like this restaurant on the high street. The service is great and the decor and atmosphere is nice too. Never rushed to leave after finishing dinner, rather get left until we ask for the bill. It’s great for kids too as they have a nice mix of dishes which are big enough for my 13 and 10 year old girls. Food is nice a flavoursome. The staff here are all really nice and will give us good advice on the types of dishes we might like. I am a bit adventurous with my food and my family rather like the same. I always try different things and so far everything has been amazing and causes me to keep coming back. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting some tasty food. It’s restaurants like this that we need to remain on our high streets. Keep up the great work and we look forward to coming back soon.”

“Finally a place that understands what a skinny flat white should taste like! The black forest gateau was lovely just need more cherries and it's syrup in the middle which would have made the cake moist and ohh so delicious! I'd definitely be going back for more skinny flat whites!”

“This place surely isn't the biggest or most privately contained cafe in a hospital, but that really is the beauty of it. Run by volunteers, these people were wonderful to talk to, and not only to see them with the choice to dedicate this time, but simply considering how long some have lived for (e.g. age 92), and how good their health is. Onto the actual cafe! The price of food here from sandwiches to cafe drinks is the type of reasonable I am expecting and am so happy to see, when comparing to such, including the Costa in the hospital. In my opinion that includes the range of cakes, biscuits and bars too! Having my [veg] sandwhich toasted made it extra fulfilling, and the cappuccino was super! And it gets better: All profits made, go to a certain division of the hospital. More people should visit this cafe to appreciate the efforts devoted by volunteers here. Hospitals should have more affordable, lovingly run cafe's like this! Obviously that doesn't even have to be as a patient!”

“Lively place with plenty of seats; outdoor tables are nice too. They have fun activities such as trivia night. The food is so-so but cheap. They have daily deals, drink deals, and so forth. We came for quiz night. The service is great. They ran out of an ale I ordered so they suggested a good alternative and even gave me a sample to try, a sample that could easily be 1/3 of a pint. Staff checked up on us multiple times, which is surprising given how busy they were.”
