“We needed somewhere to celebrate a life. We were lucky enough to choose Lisa's bar at the Stockley Park Golf Clubhouse. They provided a really good buffet for around 100 guests. We were able to display some memories on a TV screen. The service and everything about the day made a very sad occasion as pleasant as possible. Staff were all great. Happily recommend for any occasion. Thank all involved.”

“What a great little find! Well, the pub isn’t little by any stretch but very nicely decorated, with impeccable staff and food. All plates were generous in size, kids meal also quite bit with loads of chunky chips! Great meeting point with lovely views of the lakes.”

“Still good! Staff are always pleasant. Very reasonably priced, quality, homemade food. Great for affordable everyday meals. This was chicken curry and egg and bacon. I come here regularly. Recently: The coffee is very good. It looks like the prices have gone up a little, but still hard to beat on speed, quality and price for similar.”

“Great little place in the heart of Uxbridge. Great menu and great vibe. Really enjoyed my time here and was pleased with the food service and quality. I ordered a mix of tapas food they had added newly on their menu. Everything was very delicious. Couldn’t fault it. My brother and sister and niece all enjoyed their food too. “We just came for a quick drink. This is a lovely village gastro pub with warm and welcoming feel in beautiful Denham village. Waitress was smiling, brought a drink quickly and even helped us to charge our phone. We will go back for a dinner next time. Thank you for excellent service!”

“I really like this restaurant on the high street. The service is great and the decor and atmosphere is nice too. Never rushed to leave after finishing dinner, rather get left until we ask for the bill. It’s great for kids too as they have a nice mix of dishes which are big enough for my 13 and 10 year old girls. Food is nice a flavoursome. The staff here are all really nice and will give us good advice on the types of dishes we might like. I am a bit adventurous with my food and my family rather like the same. I always try different things and so far everything has been amazing and causes me to keep coming back. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting some tasty food. It’s restaurants like this that we need to remain on our high streets. Keep up the great work and we look forward to coming back soon.”

“So had heard about this place and thought we'd check it out. clean n tidy but a bit limited on the seating even though they have plenty in the back , so sought it out lads. Ordered 3 different style burgers, Beef, Chicken both fried and grilled. Honestly can't fault any of them. Food was full of flavour and all done very well. Presented well with good sauces too, Chips were also fresh. Good Value as My double meal was £10.50 . Have already recommended to a few people BUT have to stress that the rest of the seating needs to be sorted. Great for me and my boys BUT not something for the family till there's more sit down options.”

“Finally a place that understands what a skinny flat white should taste like! The black forest gateau was lovely just need more cherries and it's syrup in the middle which would have made the cake moist and ohh so delicious! I'd definitely be going back for more skinny flat whites!”

“This place surely isn't the biggest or most privately contained cafe in a hospital, but that really is the beauty of it. Run by volunteers, these people were wonderful to talk to, and not only to see them with the choice to dedicate this time, but simply considering how long some have lived for (e.g. age 92), and how good their health is. Onto the actual cafe! The price of food here from sandwiches to cafe drinks is the type of reasonable I am expecting and am so happy to see, when comparing to such, including the Costa in the hospital. In my opinion that includes the range of cakes, biscuits and bars too! Having my [veg] sandwhich toasted made it extra fulfilling, and the cappuccino was super! And it gets better: All profits made, go to a certain division of the hospital. More people should visit this cafe to appreciate the efforts devoted by volunteers here. Hospitals should have more affordable, lovingly run cafe's like this! Obviously that doesn't even have to be as a patient!”

“Such a great pub/restaurant. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. The food is delicious, the lunch time bites and small menu are great. I love the Welsh Rarebit and the bubble & squeak. So much to choose from. In a great location with walks around. Parking is free on the street.”

“I had a genuinely excellent stay at ibis Styles London Ealing, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, the hotel felt welcoming, modern, and well cared for. After a long journey, Mac made the check-in process smooth, friendly, and completely stress-free, which instantly put me at ease and set a great tone for the stay. The room itself was spotless with a unique cinema theme that made it stand out from a typical hotel room. I especially appreciated the small personal touches, a welcome card waiting in the room and a little chocolate, which was such a nice surprise and made me feel genuinely welcomed. Another thoughtful detail that really impressed me was the complimentary pastries available one of the evenings I was there, along with free orange juice for guests. It’s a small gesture, but it adds a warm, generous feel to the hotel and shows real attention to guest experience. The room was comfortable, quiet, and relaxing, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was friendly and calm. Everything felt well organized and cared for, and it’s clear the team takes pride in what they do. “Lively place with plenty of seats; outdoor tables are nice too. They have fun activities such as trivia night. The food is so-so but cheap. They have daily deals, drink deals, and so forth. We came for quiz night. The service is great. They ran out of an ale I ordered so they suggested a good alternative and even gave me a sample to try, a sample that could easily be 1/3 of a pint. Staff checked up on us multiple times, which is surprising given how busy they were.”
