“Cafe run by charity Mencap - fantastic initiative to give people with learning disabilities the chance to learn skills in catering, customer services and hospitality. I have never eaten there but just had a quick coffee / kids snacks - it doesn't feel that warm and cosy to me, so I've never been tempted to linger too long. My suggestion would be to remove the PCs and introduce some sofas and perhaps some toys or games. Not sure how feasible that would be!”

“Staying in a hotel around the corner from here and stopped in for chicken momos that were honestly some of the best I've ever had. The filling was well balanced, nice deep savory notes along with bright ginger. Was nice to watch them being made right there in-house. Got an Americano to-go on my way out. It was super smooth and I probably drank it too quickly, went back for a second about an hour later. I look forward to returning again to try other offerings.”

“I had my eye on visiting this place for a while as it’s not far from home. I love craft beer. The gentleman at store was very knowledgeable about all the beers in the store. I told him what sort of beers I liked & he selected a bunch for me to try. I liked all the beers he recommended! Also, if you live within a certain radius of the store they will deliver for free for minimum order of £35.”

“The staff were very friendly and helpful. I learnt to ski as a beginner many years ago here. It's a great place to revise skiing skills in preparation for a holiday. There is a beginner and advanced slope. I think that the recreational skiing rate is very reasonable. The facilities do look a bit tired but they're functional and work! I liked the fact that they had an electronic calendar which meant you could change your booking last minute.”

“From your first step when you walk into the hotel up until you leave, you are treated like royalty by the stuff who can't do enough for you. The cleanliness all over is next level at this hotel. Breakfast serving is absolutely the best I've had at any hotel and they even have 24 hour coffee to enjoy the lovely lounge area. “I have been to this pub a few times.since the new manager took over (i think he has been managing for around 8 months now). They are a very friendly community based team. Today for example a lady in a wheel chair was outside and asked me.to let.thr staff kmow she needed help. Thr manager immediately let.me tell him even though he was really busy. Came out straight away and mads the lady feel special and supported. He even tried to find a comfy seat available for her and one that was not high. When I have been here before the manager was again very chatty and explained he wamts customers.tk feel special and valued. He certainly has achieved this. The ither staff also are friendly and always approachable. You will be served here quickly as they make customers a priority.the food is amazing too.”

“AMAZING staff, so lovely and friendly, we did a fab deal for snacks with a soft drink, popcorn and little sweet/savoury pot for £9! We went to see Sinners on a Monday at 2pm and were the only people in the screening, comfy seats and lovely and clean :) Tickets were £14 each, absolutely worth it and would now always choose over a chain cinema!”
