“This pub was once the place to come in Greenford. Lovely premises with enormous back garden and like a local pub is supposed to be as everybody knew everyone and newbies were welcomed and loved it. Due to later recent management, many of the locals left as it became the place NOT to be.....(we all miss you James). Like many others, I left for pastures new and found new pubs as the atmosphere was toxic at times. Popped in here a few weeks ago on a Saturday night to find this lovely pub almost empty which shocked and saddened me. The pub and the people here now are like it was way back then, friendly and welcoming however...... I know from talking to the people I know that the prices are a BIG problem..... For my particular tipple (Guinness) I can pay far,far less for a pint. This isn't central London, this is Greenford. Rumours about the owners wanting it to die and sell the land are a common theme. Marston, this place is a moneypot with some decent support. Stop the silly "offers" bull , lower your prices and bring this place up!”

“Great Little Irish Pub, best Gunniess in Greenford by far, great for the criac, live music on the weekend. Made to feel at home straight away. Trad session on Mondays, Karaoke on firdays, definitely worth a visit if your near the area.”

“I took my smart car to have it checked, had loads of computer faults and something going wrong with the exhaust. Frank was brilliant! Had a look and a quick drive to understand better what I was saying. Frank said I needed a specialist and recommend one nearby (which I wasn't aware of). I called Frank back to check the costs of exhaust, and he was honest saying he would not be able to offer better deal. Definitely will be going back when needed!”

“This is our local Lidl supermarket, one among our favourite stores. First and foremost, I must say thanks to its colleagues who are very friendly, approachable, helpful and knowledgeable. I never had any adverse experiences in this store. As you all might know, lidil supermarkets have become one of customers’ first choice due to its competitive pricing (without compromising on the quality). Bakery items are my children’s favourite. We love their produces , frozen food and other household goods. Couple of the notable attractions are ; plenty of parking spaces and electricity car charging stations.”

“Last night, I went here for dinner with my family, and honestly, it was a wonderful experience! Tried chicken tikka and kebab roll here for the first time - both were so delicious that I can't even describe them in words. The butter chicken was also very very very tasty! The service was excellent- the waitress was extremely kind, spoke with a lovely smile and the service was really fast. I would definitely love to come here again. Admittedly I ordered a 'Make your own breakfast' via Uber Eats which came up to about £14 with fees etc. But here's my opinion: ALL the adjustments/extras I asked were done in full with no shortcuts (I just wish took pictures of it all) Bonus 1! Forgot to add tea so called right away to add it in - I am so picky how I want my tea done, they actually done it PERFECTLY!! Exactly how I like it. Bonus 2! The lady I spoke to didn't sound pis+ed off with me calling to add my tea with special instructions and even wished me a special day. Most places get upset when you need to amend an order and act like you've asked them to go and milk a field of cows! But not this place. Bonus 3! SO I've established my 'make your own breakfast' consisting of sausage, 2 runny (as requested) eggs, fried bread, mushrooms and beans was top knotch and made to perfection. Very tasty and just right for the belly. Bonus 4! The service on the phone was 'with a smile'. Delivery Rider was quick and at 8am was very very polite and courteous. Deliverers are so underrated and deserve more recognition and respect. Maybe a clap once a fortnight or once a month, like we used to do during Covid? It's so hard to find a decent greasy spoon but I urge everyone to check this place out. Much better than one in Eastcote I tried once but seems lots of feedback on Uber about food poisoning so not risking it. They were quite expensive but they honoured my requests. Munchies verdict: What I had was BANGING!!! General reviews seem positive. NOTE: FIRST TIME TRYING MUNCHIES. ALL COMMENTS ARE OF MY OWN FREE WILL. I RECEIVE NO INCENTIVE IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM OR FROM ANYONE AFFILIATED/NOT AFFILIATED TO MUNCHIES. 10 OUT OF 10 AND DEFINITELY WILL GO BACK BUT MAYBE ORDER ON-LINE DIRECT IN FUTURE IF THEY ALLOW”
