“We were staying in Teddington for 2 days and visited here for breakfast on the first day (as recommended by my sister who lives locally). The service was friendly (same for first time customers and those who clearly come in regularly/everyday - which is a great), the food was delicious, so much so that we went back on the second morning. We had thought of trying somewhere different but as they say, if it ain’t broke!! Go here if you’re in the area for great food at reasonable prices and a truly friendly welcome. We will be back when next in the area for sure!!”

I was gluten free for about one year and their shop made my life much easier as they have a great selection of alternative snacks but also cooking essentials for those who avoid gluten. If they don't have what you're looking for, they will order it in often and there's always new things to try.”

“This is a popular restaurant and usually fully booked. It was our first visit to an Izakaya and wasn't sure what to expect, the staff were accomodating and patient. We decided to get a few small plates to start and order more if needed. I'm glad that we chose that tactic as the servings are rather generous; no further plates were required. The food is delicious and well presented. I'm definitely marking another booking, soon!”

And what a treat it was.... the inspiring variety of food, all cooked to perfection, all beautifully presented, all immaculately timed and served hot (which is always a challenge with a large event) and all devoured with relish and many compliments. The staff were super friendly, helpful and polite - around, without being intrusive...the outside space was lovely and later in the evening the back room changed from being an entrancing restaurant into a nightclub!!!!! A special thanks to Kay, who went above and beyond to find an alternative antibiotic for my 4-year-old when the original wasn’t in stock. Despite it being a busy bank holiday, he patiently explained the options and spent over 30 minutes on hold to speak with the doctor and arrange a new prescription. Truly an exceptional pharmacist and person, I can’t thank him enough!”

“After many years away, we returned to what was once our local! Lovely service and delicious menu options. We went early (5pm) and might go later next time or for lunch to avoid the numerous families with small noisy kids who came in after us. It got pretty frenetic.”

Cannot recommend Ho Me highly enough, but do recommend booking in advance as it’s only small and almost never has availability for walk-ins. Favourite dishes - Ma La spicy pot, fish fragrant aubergine, and sea salt aubergine!”

“We were staying at a local hotel for a wedding and stumbled across this cafe whilst looking for somewhere to have breakfast. The atmosphere when you enter is lovely, as are the views of trays and counters of freshly made desserts, cake and pastries. The smell was amazing! Whilst small, there is quite a bit of seating for couples pr small groups aswell as outside for those wanting more space or with pups. The service was great- staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. We barely waited for our food and the toasted clubs sandwiches we received were the best we'd ever had. Huge, freshly made, packed with filling and beautifully presented. We then selected some pastries to take away with us - huge selection and hard to choose! The staff helped us, although items were clearly labelled which was great, and were happy to box bits up. It is slightly on the pricey side, as expected for the portion sizes, but it felt like reasonable value for fresh and homemade pieces of such size and I did not leave feeling ripped off. It was a very pleasant experience and I would visit again if in the area.”
