“Very homely cooked food,,, authentic indeed, loved every bite of what we had , started with ross omelette & pav bread along with masala chai and resumed later with goan thali with prawns curry(typical goan homestyle) & my fav kingfish recheado ,,,,the cozyambience and Goan music along with such delicious food just brought me back to my Goa’s old days when I used to work there. One who truly understands the homely cooked goan meal will definitely appreciate their efforts, probably the best Goan meal i ever had in UK. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff joycelyn and shilpi made me feel right at home with their friendly service. The food was delicious—I tried the classic chicken paratha roll and the LPC omelette, both of which were excellent. The highlight for me was the *kadak chai*. It had the perfect blend with the milk—honestly one of the best chais I’ve ever tasted! Definitely a must-try spot. Highly recommended! ☕✨”

“Stayed for two nights, thanks to a layover coming home from Italy. Perfect location for short term London visits. Took the Elizabeth train to West End one night and caught a bus to Oxford the next day...both conveniently from Heathrow. Room was plenty big enough and comfortable. Staff friendly throughout the stay. On last morning, went from room through airport security in less than 30 minutes. Will gladly stay here again for one- or two-night visits.”

“We had our twins 18th birthday party yesterday in Amrit Lounge. The food was so delicious by chefs (Mr. Sharma & Mr. Pandey) , waitress ( Aasha) was excellent and was spot on. The manager ( Mr. Sooriya ) was so helpful and he is brilliant. He managed this event so smoothly that all our guests (80) were so impressed with the food & service and the atmosphere. Highly recommended for small partys for around 70/80 people. A big "Thank you" to all the staff of Amrit Lounge for making this event a grand success.”

“Staying at the attached holiday inn for a night, but couldnt check into a room yet - decided to get breakfast here. They have a breakfast buffet or a la carte options. The hostess was extremely nice, had some coffee on my table before id even sat down. The buffet had plenty of options. We paid about 40 pounds for two people for the full english buffet and i was not disappointed!”

“As a visitor from the US, I was lucky to stumble upon this place through folks who lived in the neighborhood. It really is a hole in the wall type of place, so best to take your food home. My rating is based on their to go kebab rolls. They are £5 each, consisting of two charred kebabs (lamb), salad, chili sauce and a nan fresh from the tandoor. Having had these types of kebab rolls from all over the world I think these really are a pretty darn good! I would totally recommend this place!!! They have a lot of other options too, see photos of their kebab types. If you’re in the local area I would recommend. Addition: next day had the spicy chicken tikka roll - excellent! staff were also very good in the store.”
