“I stopped by Molens Brasserie in Loughton for lunch recently, and it was a fantastic experience. Located on the High Road, this charming spot has been a local favorite since 1985, and it’s clear why. The vibe is warm, inviting, and effortlessly stylish, blending cozy and upscale perfectly – great for a relaxed midday meal. The menu is packed with options, from hearty sandwiches to fresh salads and comforting classics. I went for the Chicken Escalope sandwich, and it was on point – tender, perfectly cooked chicken in a soft granary roll with crisp lettuce, cucumber, and a zesty lemon mayo that made every bite pop. My buddy chose the lasagna, served piping hot with golden fries and a fresh side salad – classic comfort food done right. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, with generous portions and bold flavors. The staff were a real highlight – super friendly, attentive, and full of warmth. Joseph, in particular, stood out, greeting us with a genuine smile and keeping everything running smoothly, even as the place hummed with lunchtime diners. Our drinks arrived quickly, perfectly complementing the meal, and the service was flawless throughout. Molens Brasserie is an awesome spot for lunch, whether you’re dining solo, with friends, or with family. The quality, atmosphere, and stellar team make it a standout in Loughton.”

“We held my son's 4th birthday here on Sunday and the whole experience from start to finish was brilliant. The owners are so helpful, organised and make everything very easy. On the day I didn't have to think of anything but bringing the cake and balloons - they served a great buffet for the kids, cut the cake and packed it into the party bags. My son and his friends had an amazing time together and I can't thank the team here enough. Highly recommend.”

“Nice quiet space and a good variety of pastries, toasties abd great variety of hot drinks, frappes, iced lattes, smoothies. I ordered the pistachio and salted caramel frappe with whipped cream on top. It was sweet enough for me so asked for a bit more syrup and they did. Very nice.”

“Wow what can I say. The kings oak event team executed our wedding perfectly. We had the best day!! It was honestly the most incredible venue. Paula and Linzi on the day were amazing making sure I was calm and everyone was in place and the day ran smoothly. The food was INCREDIBLE! So many people have said to me it’s the best food they have ever had at a wedding. Christian the toastmaster was lovely! The DJ provided was very good and really friendly! Photo Booth and chocolate fountain were included and were incredible, all the guests raved about them! I couldn’t fault the place. Thank you so much for making our dream wedding a reality, the venue is stunningly beautiful and every last detail is perfect.”

“Saturday afternoon pub lunch in the sun with the kids. 2 adult meals and 2 kids meals came to about £40 without drinks, which I felt was really reasonable. I had the tandoori chicken skewers and it was absolutely delicious. Came with fries, hot sauce, tatziki, grains and salad. Couldn't fault it. My partner had the sea bass which she loved and was a nice healthier option too. Also tried the chocolate brownie which was to die for.”

“Always have a delivery from this store and 99% of the time they have what I ordered, all the delivery drivers that work here are amazing, always friendly no matter what the weather. The only problem is that some of the fresh food dates are close to expiry, but that is the same with other companies.”

“I have been here a few times since it has opened and every time I have been the staff and service has been outstanding. A special shout-out to our lovely waitress Sophie. All the staff here are so lovely but Sophie was just so nice and accommodating. It was my friends birthday and all the waitresses went above and beyond to make it so special. We arrived at 5pm and didn't leave the restaurant till after 10pm. They made us feel welcome and at home and nothing was too much to ask. Another mention for the great cocktails that were made for us and were actually given complimentary. I will definitely be returning soon. Thank you to all at Dim T. Also the food was amazing. “Awesome place! I cannot recommend this place enough. We're so glad that we came across it and decided to check it out. The food was AMAZING and the buffalo wings were so delicious. The Cali loaded fries are THE BEST. But putting all that aside, the service was by far the best we've experience in London! Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff is just another level. Special shout-out to Miguel who served us and explained everything as it was our first time. We don't live local, but we'd definitely drive back to that specific branch for the awesome and friendly service. Thanks guys.”
