“We found this hidden gem by accident, were passing by, mistook it for a small local shop, and popped in for a bottle of milk. Half an hour after wandering around this amazing tardis of a shop, in complete awe of the size of the shop and selection of produce, we came out with three bottles of wine and almost a week's worth of shopping! I am a retired convenience store owner myself and, after 40 years in the sector, can safely say, this is the best convenience store you will likely find anywhere in the UK. Plus the staff were all extremely friendly! Well done to the owner of this shop and all their staff, this is a masterclass on how a convenience shop should be run.”

“Great staff, l remember when my baby got his BCG , it was a cold and rainy day but it ended up being a good day for my baby and l , the place was conducive for breastfeeding and relaxing and the staff were all so nice ,my baby was still a newborn and l was exhausted but that day my energy was boosted and made me more confident of going out and wanting to attend more class.”

“Le Bon Cafe, a popular spot for breakfast is an unsuspecting Moroccan restaurant which I have been meaning try. Finally went in but didn't try the Moroccan dishes as planned but will revisit again another time. To be fair, the Moroccan menu had a good range of the usual suspects like the tangine, pancakes and briwat. It seems the breakfast is more popular possibly because it is cheaper than the Moroccan dishes. I had the American pancakes with salmon and scrambled egg which was how it should be. It was served stacked which was quite different and the pancakes were thick and soft unlike the supermarket ones which you can buy. Will return for the Moroccan dishes so I can compare it to the ones at Shepherds bush which are a third cheaper.”

“The atmosphere at FILTR was great, the coffee (my oat milk latte) was very smooth and tasty, it is great sustainably sourced coffee. I tried their coconut matcha latte on another occasion and I think they do coffee the best (I felt their was not enough matcha itself in the drink, but this may be personal preference). Seating available inside and outside, which is great to sip your coffee when the sun is out! Incredibly friendly and welcoming staff, great customer service!”

Ryan and James were really friendly and there were options laid out for us ready to go when we arrived. Ryan led us through the tasting expertly and was able to answer all of our questions. “Best takeaway in Croydon, bar none. I've been a regular customer since the mid 1990s. The wife and I love the combination of special fried rice, sweet and sour pork balls, king prawn curry, fried shredded beef with carrots and prawn crackers. The best set dinner for two is option A.”

“My son started Abbey Wood Grange Day Nursery at 8 months old, i was so nervous when I first started looking for nursery’s, so I could plan to return back to work. I viewed so many nursery’s in the area, Abbey Wood Grange day nursery had something over them all, for me it was the attention to detail & care from staff. On my viewing with Lisa she was so welcoming, enthusiastic and had a real sense of care. lisa knew all the children’s names when we entered the rooms. Staff was all friendly an engaged with all the children. Staff are all so friendly & welcoming, my son settled in really quickly and formed great bonds. He really loves being at nursery and gets all excited when we arrive. I get regular updates daily in his book from the day & updates on the tapestry app showing observations & his development. I honestly couldn't be more happier with the level of service from the nursery & staff at abbey wood. I know his well looked after, It really is a lovely nursery. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to put their baby or child into a nursery.”
