“As surprised as I am, I have to give 5 stars! It was a great stay, considering it is a 3 star, budget hotel. Rooms were very clean, a bit tired but spotless. The carpet must have been laid out recently because it was still fluffy and soft. I loved the idea of open space underneath the bed as you can easily hoover under and there is no old dust lingering there. There was no musty smell in the rooms and the corridors smelled of fresh cleaning procucts. Our daughter praised the comfort of the kids bed (no springs digging in her body). The food was good, both dinner and breakfast, small buffet but sufficient enough for warm and cold options. I forgot to mention the welcome card on our desk and 2 christmas colouring cards for our daughter which is some serious 5 star hotel add on :) It wasn't perfect but it was surprisingly quiet for a full capacity and we enjoyed our stay throughoutly.”

“The picnic area beside Boating at Cliveden was our destination, walking from the National Trust Woodland Car Park. The boating attraction is set beside the Victorian boathouse. Boating at Cliveden runs some (electric) launches up and down Cliveden Reach. We didn’t use them on this visit, but they look very stylish. The picnic area has several tables and benches beside a delightful stretch of the Thames. There is a coffee hut and some toilets. It’s a delightful place to visit.”

“Perfect overnight stay, always delightful and attentive staff, check in always impeccable, the lounge a delight and breakfast service, spot on, again, staff are brilliant. Huge comfortable beds, gorgeous bed linen and the most sumptuous fluffy towels, immaculate bathrooms, I always feel I should clean the wash hand basin after brushing my teeth, and you can’t hear the aircraft even though they skim the roof. I started taking my step daughter there from the age of 4 and more recently my daughter who is aged 3 has been with them for almost one year. My daughter thrives and enjoys her ballet classes so much. The teachers come with such professionalism but also fun and excitement for the children. “Excellent food, big portions. I can honestly say it's one of the best Chinese we've had in a while. We had the veg noodles and shredded chilli chicken. There was a lot of vegetables in the dishes which other shops don't provide due to the cost. The gentleman at the front was helpful and was happy to bespoke the dishes to our requirements.”
