The highlight of our meal was the unforgettable Cretan Pot salad—a true masterpiece of flavor and presentation. It featured a perfect mix of cherry tomatoes, olives, onions, green onions, orange, potato, artichokes, and basil vinaigrette, all brought together with the luxurious richness of staka butter cream. The kicker? It was served in a real terra cotta pot, looking just like a potted plant—a whimsical and delightful surprise. And the taste? Ridiculously delicious—every bite felt like a celebration of fresh, perfectly balanced ingredients. Their selection of orange and natural wines was equally impressive, perfectly complementing the vibrant, earthy flavors of the food. We left feeling completely satisfied, yet already planning our next visit. “An excellent Sunday lunch at The White Swan. Not that many tables, so we'd reserved for 3x in advance, but just a few days before. The weekend before Christnas, so we were pleased to be fitted in. A lovely table right by the bar, immediately friendly service, a drink for me, whilst waiting for the rest of the party. The Sunday roasts were excellent, great pudding as well. “One of the best Italian restaurants we visited in London so far, the tiramisu is soooo good! If you are tiramisu fan this is the must try. We also love the crab meat courgette pasta very much, it's fresh hand made of fluffy white flour, delicate flavour of crab meats and tender courgette, suitable for kids too.”

Huge thanks to Triveni, who managed my booking so professionally — she was incredibly helpful, organised, and responsive, making the whole planning process completely stress-free. “Absolutely fantastic. 10 years plus since I’ve had Weißwurst. Just as I remember it. The skin peeled back lovely, beer and mustard worked well together. All you could want from a Bavarian breakfast apart from it was after 12! Rear terrace peaceful and plenty of shade.”

“One of my favourite clothing chains now located in Stratford City Mall. Excellent stock, friendly staff. Always ask about any sale items. There usually are some and, I often buy something even though I may not have planned to initially. It's on the ground floor and right next to an entry door. Easily accessible.”

“Saturday afternoon pub lunch in the sun with the kids. 2 adult meals and 2 kids meals came to about £40 without drinks, which I felt was really reasonable. I had the tandoori chicken skewers and it was absolutely delicious. Came with fries, hot sauce, tatziki, grains and salad. Couldn't fault it. My partner had the sea bass which she loved and was a nice healthier option too. Also tried the chocolate brownie which was to die for.”

“I've found this spot some time ago, frankly it needs a mention. Easily one of the most under rated venues in Croydon. The staff are down to earth, helpful and add a vibrant splash of colour to the place, those they come into contact with love them. “New roast is OFF THE HOOK... best roast had out and about for a while, had beef, which was superb. Great portion size too... top Sunday atmosphere in there, football was on but wan't domineering the whole pub. Food came in a very acceptable time and staff attentive... and a special shout out for the Bloody Mary's too. Double recommended!”

“We celebrated my birthday at the Millers Tap Uxbridge on Saturday and i wouldn't usually write a review but i couldn't not on this occasion. The staff went above and beyond for us and we was a big table of 18! i was a bit worried as cocktails are on offer and everyone wanting different things could of held up the service but it didn't at all. Big shout out to Oana she was amazing made it a great experience for us even taking group pictures on a chair so we could all be in it haha. So many of my friends have said that they will be returning. The girls behind the bar were also great service with smiles all round and we cant wait to return.”

“I decided to pop down to Bam Bam and give the donner's a try. I ordered the tandoori chicken donner and spicy donner and we weren't disappointed. Both donner's were tasty, full of flavour, saucy and the spice level was just perfect. The meat comes on a bed of French fries and gives it that crunch. The staff are friendly, portion were decent and reasonably priced. The food is a household favourite and we'll be back really soon.”
