“Bought 6 ember tetras here about a month ago. Despite it being nearly closing time, the staff were ever so helpful and friendly. They also showed genuine care for the fishes - they ensured that I had a fully matured fish tank of reasonable size and setting. They also gave me recommendations on where I could get good Indian Almond Leaves to manage the pH. I also saw them reject an inexperienced customer who wanted to keep fishes in a fish bowl (the fish will likely suffer), and for that, I highly respect them. The ember tetras are doing well - sorry for the algae-stained glass in the very bad picture!”

“We have taken all of our three Wolfhounds to Beth who all absolutely loved her. She has (and is with our latest - No 3 Dexter) so caring and professional. Even her greeting to us humans is always with a smile. Considering we have had large dogs, this has never been an issue with Beth, on the contrary, she is so relaxed and confident with them. They have all come out looking and smelling lovely. We would recommend Beth 100% - even after moving out of the area, we are more than happy to travel 45 minutes for her expert service. They're treating everyone as friends which makes all new and old customers to feel very appreciated. Great authentic varieties of food, sweets, beverages are sold there which fully covers every customers wishes and taste. Well done guys and keep going.”

“Expected it to be like any other wine/alcohol shop. Was pleasantly surprised. Stock levels are massive. They have huge selections of every spirits both small batch and mass produced. They do also take custom orders for parties or one off bottles you’d like. Staff were incredibly helpful offering detailed opinions and personal preferences. Very inclusive and welcoming. Openly admitted “the salesman in me says buy the more expensive one. The drinker in me says to buy the cheaper one as you’d enjoy it more” which I find amazing! Gave me tips and pointers for the future. They do also have a very varied collection of hot sauce and BBQ sauce which I’m in love with. New selection every 1-3 months depending on demand. By far my favourite shop for alcohol and a chat!!”

“Sashimi quality well , tempura not too crispy ,salmon not too fat and no much fish oil on it means chef skill well,fresh enough, The hamachi set make me surprise, the hamachi maki with spring onions balance the fat of fish just the sushi rice a bit big and a bit sticky but most of the uk sushi always like that so not a big problem.”

“Fantastic... Simply fantastic service. Spoke to Gareth regarding buying my daughter her first pet and although they no longer sold hamsters he was a wealth of knowledge. Directed me to a reputable store and was polite and spent more time answering my questions then he had to. Will be buying all our supplies from him in the future and the delivery option is a great bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful too. I do not have a second though recommending them.”

“Visited last Monday during a week-long stag celebration and wow what a hidden gem! The garlic bread is quite honestly the best we’ve ever tasted and the cocktails were superb - and I think we tried the entire menu between us! Wonderful service, stayed open for us too. “I went to Yvonne Arnaud Theatre to see the show Murder At Midnight starring Max Bowden from EastEnders and I had a wonderful time, it was an incredible experience to see Max and the rest of the cast perform live as it has always been my dream to see Max perform as I have been a fan of his for many years now so it was a special experience for me. We had front row seats which made the experience even more special too. Yvonne Arnaud is a wonderful little venue with great seating for shows and the cafe is lovely too, with delicious food and drinks and beautiful views across the river. The staff are really friendly and helpful too. Thank you Yvonne Arnaud for a wonderful show and for making my dreams come true with watching Max Bowden perform live, I send my gratitude to Max and the rest of the cast of Murder At Midnight for a fantastic show that I will remember forever!”

“Security guard went over his work remit by going out of his way to help me,excellent customer support from him. A manager I didn't take her name but she too gave me fabulous customer support. The only issue I had at the till I was told my Nectar card was blocked so I have to call Sainsbury's to fix it & add 100 points from shopping apparently I've got to do within 30 days. All this means I won't call,not convenient”
