“We had a lovely Sunday evening meal with friends at this restaurant. The service from beginning to end was great and the staff were warm and helpful. “We came here first time and we didn't left disappointed. The food was amazing! It's definitely the best Polish restaurant we ever been! We had Żurek to start. For the second course we had Veal cabbage rolls with forest mushroom sauce (Gołabki z cielęciną z sosem grzybowym). I recommend it to everyone it was so delicious. Also we had Beef roulade (Rolada Śląska) witch was perfect in every way. In the end of course I couldn't not have dessert so I had Apple pie (Szarlotka). Compliments to the schef for cooking such an amazing food. The service was very nice and professional (Thank You Klaudia). We also wanted to thank the very nice and so welcoming owner. “104 Restaurant by Richard Wilkins is very small (max 16 covers) but, for me, is a perfect restaurant. The food is outstanding (as good as any Michelin starred restaurant). The service was excellent, friendly and informative and there was a lovely ambience where you could enjoy the food, wine and your friends/family. I couldn't recommend it more highly!”

“I have just been back to PLU, for my third time, and it just keeps getting better. I do not know how this place does not have multiple Michelin stars, it is so much better than all of the 2 starred restaurants I have been to. To think that there is just one chef creating all of these dishes alone in the kitchen is absolutely mind boggling. This restaurant should be top in all of the guides, yet it is just quietly tucked away in St John's Wood and no one seems to know about it. Favourite dishes for me this time round... the tuna, no.. the foie gras, who am I kidding it must be at least one of the parts of the 'lobster trilogy'. Maybe it is easier to decide which of the the two desserts was the best... I said the Opera cake & my other half said definitely the Apple & Blackberry Crumble. Thank goodness you don't need to make choices!”

“We had the most amazing experience at Hayward’s this weekend. I booked the dinner and accommodation package for my husbands birthday months ago. Since booking, I have had to go on a strict diet for medical reasons. I contacted Hayward’s and they went above and beyond what I had expected by creating a fully bespoke menu for myself, meaning I didn’t miss out on anything and you would never have known the food had been adapted. My husbands food was incredible as well. The service on the night was impeccable, our glasses were never empty and little touches such as the waitress’s ensuring the tables were clean after each course did not go unnoticed. We would highly recommend visiting this family run business and we will be back for definite.”

“The House has become a regular stop for me in Finchley. Food is delicious and service is friendly and attentive, makes you feel like family! My regular dishes include the Chicken Milanese and Lasagna. The Chicken Stroganoff is also worth mentioning, as well as the Seafood Pasta. Overall delightful atmosphere, worth the trip.”

“We had the seven course menu and every course was excellent. The service was fantastic with special mention to the Albanian waiter we had, he was so professioanl in his approach and was an excellent asset to the team. There was one other waiter, who delivered our tea service, who was on “robot mode” held no eye contact and the service felt robotic/rehearsed/emotionless he rushed too much which was shame. The atmosphere is clearly very formal but it was welcoming and we were treated excellently. My only complaint was the table of two 50plus year olds who decided that they would each each other faces for around an hour, the conversation was vulgar from them as was the “slobbering” noise while they tried to investigate each other tonsils. The staff should have intervened as they were taking it too far and it really wasnt pleasant to have to listen to/observe. Aside from this pair of guests, the who experience was fabulous, amzing food and mostly top class service. Highly recommend.”
