“This place deserves much higher review points. Everything is perfect. Literally perfect It has been around many years. Feels so cosy with carpet and cushion decoration. Lighting and music really on point and good. Really helpful staff. Enough time between the meals. Had beef tartare and tempura squid and prawn as a starter. Burger and beef stroganoff for main. Cost around £60 per person inc service charge which is really reasonable for the quality they are providing. Thanks”
“They serve amazing coffee here! The food, service, and cleanliness are all top-notch. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. It’s a lovely spot for couples, families, or even a peaceful solo date :)”
“Loved this restaurant. We visited on a Friday afternoon and had a great time. Friendly staff and great food.”
“Wonderful place, great atmosphere, great stuff, great food, great beer in the proper old pub doesn’t get much better than this”
“I’ve been a regular at this restaurant for over a year now, and it never disappoints. Every visit is a consistently great experience, with both the food and service always exceeding expectations. The pizzas and pastas are generously portioned, and the ingredients are clearly fresh and high quality. Each dish bursts with flavor, and it’s evident that a lot of care goes into the preparation. Whether it’s a cozy dinner or a quick lunch, this spot has become a reliable favorite for its excellent cuisine and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended! Grazie :)”
“Amazing food, really good flavour with a tasty olive oil. The service is great and really attentive. Will definitely be back! One of those restaurants where you want to take the family that comes visit you.”
“Fabulous food, great service and a lovely atmosphere! We love this place, by far one of the best restaurants in South Croydon. Thank you :)”
“A classic pub with a great, warm atmosphere and good beers. They don't serve food.”
“Overall great restaurant. Went on a Saturday night and they managed to squeeze us in despite being very busy! All the staff were super friendly, the restaurant is really nicely decorated, relaxed background music and the food was delicious (you won't go away hungry)! Would definitely recommend and so much nicer to go to a more local independent restaurant when there are far too many nationwide chains in Windsor!”
“This small Italian restaurant in Chelsea is a true find! The food is fresh and full of flavor, from the tasty pasta to the perfect pizzas. Everything is homemade and feels like real Italian cooking. The prices are surprisingly low for such great quality, especially in this part of London. It’s a cozy, friendly place, perfect for a casual meal. If you love Italian food, you really need to visit this place!”
“The restaurant had been on my list for years but I did not know they got a Michelin star in 2025. Food was amazing from start to finish. With some Tartare, Mussels toast and Pigeon skewer to begin with. And then some Dover Sole, Mallard, vegetables and potatoes. All that with a side of bread and butter. And a cheesecake finish. Service was great and they explained everything. Wine list was also great with lots of options (including Sherry and Dessert wine) I highly recommend the place”
“Probably the best pizza i’ve had in a while. They have a few unique options which makes a nice change from the classic Italian pizzas. Service is efficient and staff are friendly too. The base and crust is amazing. Nduja Wagyu was spicy and delicious. The Burrata Pizza was fresh with lots of burrata, fresh tomato sauce and fresh basil. Short rib croquettes were ‘melt in the mouth’ deliciousness.”
“Delicious oven baked pizzas in a cosy environment. The staff is very professional. We had a great time in your restaurant.”
“This is our third visit and absolute favorite French taster menu option in London. Our default for special occasions! Very refined but relaxed deco/atmosphere with the most lovely and attentive staff on the floor and in the kitchen. Julio the Head Sommelier looked after us personally all evening and was spot on with his wine pairing and interesting facts. He made us feel very welcome! The food as usual was exceptional, visually gorgeous, rather large portions and full of fresh dynamic flavour – well done chef. Also Patrisia and her team organized the evening for us and were ever so accommodating, I was very demanding I do admit. It was my husbands 65th birthday and he recently was diagnosed with cancer, so this was a birthday celebration we really needed and appreciated a break from our new reality for an evening!”
“I thought I'd try the Pizza and pint deal one day and this place has now become my favourite pub. The food is amazing, especially the pepperoni pizza. The staff are really friendly and can't do enough for us when we're there. Looking forward to the Sunday roast we're off to enjoy today.”
“Great alternative movie theater option from the big chains. Has a nice cafe and bar and the upper floors and 3 screens on the lowest level. Theater gave off that indie/festival vibe to the auditorium but it still had a good sound system. Very much enjoyed watching the F1 movie here.”
“It was a really good friendly service. I ordered the salt and pepper squid, and sweet short ribs as a starter, very delicious. For the main, I had a honey grilled chicken with rice that was really juicy and crispy. I would recommend trying the traditional lemonade and ask about the story behind the drink, it's really cool.”
“Came in for lunch during our London vacation and had a lovely meal at Kitchen W8. The meal was relaxed, but with refined food and service. Very interesting but approachable menu and expansive wine offerings. An elevated neighborhood resturant.”
“Had lunch at Royal Mahal and it honestly hit the spot. The food was delicious, flavourful, fresh, and felt like real comfort after a long time of average meals. The vibe was nice and clean, and the staff were super friendly too. The highlight for me? The rasmalai, it instantly reminded me of home. Soft, perfectly sweet, and the best way to end the meal. Left with a full stomach and a happy heart. Will definitely be back! ❤️”
“The restaurant is tucked away on the first floor of the Royal Lancaster London Hotel. You enter through the elegant marble foyer, head up the stairs, and turn right. It sets the tone beautifully. We were greeted warmly by the manager and shown to a window table overlooking Hyde Park. Our 18:30 reservation meant the restaurant was still quiet, with only one other table occupied, a perfect start. The menu is broad but not overwhelming. I chose the chicken and coconut soup, chicken stir-fry, and mango sorbet for dessert. Every dish was exceptional, the best Thai food I’ve had anywhere. Service was attentive without being intrusive. The team clearly know what they’re doing and let the food speak for itself. The whole experience reflects the setting, refined, calm, and just the right side of luxurious. Excellent food, excellent staff. I’ll definitely be back, and would highly recommend you book a table too.”
“Nice relaxed atmosphere with delicious food and great staff. A family owned restaurant, I feel like I’m coming into my own rather than a restaurant. The pastas are amazing especially the arabiata and the bolognese. Great value for the area and the best pasta in the area too, hits the craving everytime. I’ve been coming here for years and years, never disappointed. It’s always buzzing on match days so definitely get yourself down pre or post game as well :) 100% recommend, a Highbury staple that wouldn’t be the same without!”
“Amazing Authentic Italian food and atmosphere. I didn't taste this type of authentic food even in Italy! True Italian home made food style of restaurant in the heart of London. Amazing value too. Full plates of lovely yummy food. Keep on the good work guys. Recommend you to all of my family, friends and work mates. Kudos!”
“Here’s a sample positive review you could use or adapt: ⸻ Title: A Delicious Taste of Lebanon! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an outstanding experience at Lebanese Gardens. From the moment I walked in, the warm, inviting atmosphere and the aroma of freshly prepared spices set the tone for an unforgettable meal. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we felt welcome and well cared for. Every dish we tried was bursting with authentic flavor—especially the hummus, perfectly creamy with just the right hint of lemon and garlic. The grilled meats were tender and juicy, and the fresh-baked pita was the best I’ve had in years. It’s clear the chefs put love and tradition into every plate. Portions were generous, prices reasonable, and the presentation was beautiful. Whether you’re a fan of Lebanese cuisine or trying it for the first time, Lebanese Gardens is a must-visit. I can’t wait to come back !”
“I had a terrific experience at the Palomar. The food (lamb croquette, pork chop, hispi cabbage) was simply perfect! As noted by other reviewers, the atmosphere can be noisy due to the number of customers in close quarters, but I'll still come back without thinking about it twice!”
“We visited during the day for a couple of pints and booked to return the same evening for our celebrations. It was such a lovely experience, Alisha was a perfect host and arranged some little touches which we very much appreciated. We experienced top end customer service which sadly some places don't quite get. The food we ordered was lovely and well presented, we will undoubtedly return and will try the afternoon tea in an Orb. Some of them are sog friendly too which is great. Thanks to Alisha for making it a memorable evening.”
“I had the most amazing experience at Rock and Rose in Richmond. The food was great - my friend and I ordered the crispy tempura shrimp, the chicken milanese, the lamb leg steak and sticky toffee pudding for dessert - can't fault anything, tasted amazing! The drinks were delicious too, the bartenders put on a whole show for us and it added to the experience. The staff were all so lovely and hospitable, I loved the decor and ambience inside and it was super packed which goes to show how popular it is. Thank you so much for having us, this place is a hidden gem for sure! Can't wait to return ✨️”
“We have driven past The Seven Stars a few times on our way to Ripley and we finally headed over for a Friday night meal - and we loved it! Super warm and cosy atmosphere with a happy greeting as we entered. All the staff were really attentive and friendly, and the food was LUSH! Generous portions and cooked perfectly - we just need to eat less during the day to squeeze in a dessert next time as they sounded delicious - we have a new favourite local pub to visit and a menu that has so many options to keep us going back :) thanks for a lovely evening team Seven Stars !”
“I’ve been here several times now since its recent opening. It’s a pretty looking place with a good selection of food both savoury and sweet. Staff are welcoming and you don’t feel pressured to leave. All in all a good local cafe to go to either with friends or alone”
“This has always been one of my favourite Thai restaurants in the UK. It's been many years since I've been back, and it's still very good today. The set lunch menu is good value. Our table had all three curries - yellow, green and red. All excellent! Get yourself a papaya salad too - great stuff.”
“What a gem of a pub / restaurant, the staff are so friendly, the restaurant area is beautiful with a great atmosphere and the food is delicious. We were here for a lovely three course Christmas dinner just a few days before Christmas and it was definitely the best pub Xmas dinner we have had this year. Thank you.”
