“Probably the best pizza i’ve had in a while. They have a few unique options which makes a nice change from the classic Italian pizzas. Service is efficient and staff are friendly too. The base and crust is amazing. Nduja Wagyu was spicy and delicious. The Burrata Pizza was fresh with lots of burrata, fresh tomato sauce and fresh basil. Short rib croquettes were ‘melt in the mouth’ deliciousness.”

“Great spacious room, deeply clean, extremely quiet (only 4 rooms), definitely efficient double glazed windows. Hot shower, comfy bed and all new from carpet to linen and towels. The owner ROB and one of the cleaner went the super extra mile to look for my lost AirPods. They even looked in the laundry rooms and he was even willing to look in the big communal bins. What a legend!!!! Thx again x Lovely also the friendly lady (maybe an other owner) who checkout us out even if passed the time, as late. There are property meeting down the pub for Samuel Leeds inner circle. Definitely, this place will be always on our list for the guests or speakers.”

“Great alternative movie theater option from the big chains. Has a nice cafe and bar and the upper floors and 3 screens on the lowest level. Theater gave off that indie/festival vibe to the auditorium but it still had a good sound system. Very much enjoyed watching the F1 movie here.”

“The restaurant had been on my list for years but I did not know they got a Michelin star in 2025. Food was amazing from start to finish. With some Tartare, Mussels toast and Pigeon skewer to begin with. And then some Dover Sole, Mallard, vegetables and potatoes. All that with a side of bread and butter. And a cheesecake finish. Service was great and they explained everything. Wine list was also great with lots of options (including Sherry and Dessert wine) I highly recommend the place”

“What a gem of a pub / restaurant, the staff are so friendly, the restaurant area is beautiful with a great atmosphere and the food is delicious. We were here for a lovely three course Christmas dinner just a few days before Christmas and it was definitely the best pub Xmas dinner we have had this year. Thank you.”

“I live in Ashtead and as a family we love Thai food and used to go to Esher and other areas for Thai. I found this place with my son and tried it a few months ago and we were amazed at the quality of the food, the presentation, the taste and the service. For something similar in one of other usual places, we would be paying a lot more for it and this is walking distance from our house. We have now been over 10 times and with friends and this has easily replaced all of the others. I believe that we have tried virtually everything on the menu and been thrilled at the consistently great food they serve. My son particularly loved the tempura, which is his favourite, and he says that it is the best he's ever had.”

“Bought their cheapest set breakfast for £6.50. It came with fried bread but I was asked if I wanted to swap it for toast so I thought that was good customer service but I declined. Nice big, tasty coffee. Sausage could have been a bit more 'meaty'. Cooked to order. New photo added in July 2024.”

“Highly recommended!!! Outstanding italian restaurant with authentic italian food, great location and friendly staff! The homemade bread-grissini. focaccia and other starters were delicious. My main was Tagliatelle with Rabbit ragù. Not only the portion was very generous, but the taste was incredibly good and the meat very tender! I also tried the pizza and it was fantastic! Thank you so much to the chef Massimo that let us try the best tiramisu and sorbet we ever had!! We’ll definitely come back!!!”

It had a lovely atmosphere with Italian music playing, it was loud enough to hear but quiet enough to easily have a conversation. The staff was very welcoming and made sure we were taken care of. “I absolutely loved it, when I was here with my friends for our Christmas get together. The food was yummy - proper comfort food, ideal for this time of year. The atmosphere was also great - felt like being somewhere you have gone with your friends or family for years! It felt like everyone knew each other. It was friendly and down to earth and our host had a good sense of humor and genuinely seemed like his goal was for us to just have a nice time. The addition of karaoke was brilliant. It was hilarious and people really got involved. It just elevated the whole experience and got everyone in the festive mood! Really just a lovely, genuine place with good food and great company!”

“The amount of creativity, passion, and thoughts that have gone into the menu to combine the traditional Persian flavors with modern French techniques is absolutely fascinating. It’s not just the creativity and presentation, but everything also tastes incredible. If I lived in London, I would have to restrain myself not to go more frequently than once a month! The other favorite part of my dining experience is how the tasting menu transitions from small modern French dishes, suddenly, to a Persian feast (photo attached). The chicken and the rice could be the best I ever had. Lastly, the fact that you are sitting in the kitchen and everything is being prepared around you is an experience you won’t forget. Dominic was really awesome and looked after us so well. Congratulations to the chef and staff for this amazing concept and can’t wait to come back.”

The ambiance is excellent as it give you the sense of being in a small French bistro somewhere of the beaten path as opposed to the middle of London. “Amazing atmosphere, back garden is the best to have a seat and to catch up with friends. Food we took pepperoni pizza which was simply delicious! Prices are fair. For drinks we took their signature energy drink “emerge” and peaches and passion fruit non alcoholic cocktail. Refreshing on a warm day. We experienced top end customer service which sadly some places don't quite get. The food we ordered was lovely and well presented, we will undoubtedly return and will try the afternoon tea in an Orb. Some of them are sog friendly too which is great.
