“In the heart of Croydon, a Sri Lankan restaurant, from the outside it did not suggest anything good, in reality, a really charming, clean and well-kept restaurant. short waiting times. GREAT FOOD really tasty. reasonable prices. Really courteous staff also very friendly manger. bathrooms clean and well maintained. if you are in the area I recommend it. great! Also plates are really nice with sun and moon.”

“Went here last Thursday as heard they did a good quiz night. Had a burger and a couple of pints of Guinness zero; burger was top notch, proper gourmet stuff and we really enjoyed the quiz, we somehow won! Only downside was that it was a bit quiet, probably helped us win the quiz though. Staff were great, very friendly and welcoming.”

The staff are down to earth, helpful and add a vibrant splash of colour to the place, those they come into contact with love them. “Wow!! My second time here and I absolutely love the food and the lovely staff. I travelled 40 mins and I am not disappointed at all. Food fresh and cooked properly , we even got a free cake. We spent £30 for 2 large meals with rice , plantain and coleslaw , a large side of fried fish , 2 dumplings and drinks. All this for £30 and cooked perfectly in 2025 ?? You won’t find a better place than here. You definitely need to come here!! We couldn’t even wait to get home we ate in the car right in front of the shop lol.”

“Rubix Events were lovely, professional and reasonably priced! They provided a compact photo booth with red carpet treatment and props, we requested to print our photos out and the quality was very good - we even got to have custom filter for the party! They also provided number lights which lit up the room! They were prepared with their own lighting as well and were discreet, as this was a surprise birthday set up - it all went smoothly. They also had a person on standby all night to help guests with the booth. From booking to the actual event they did an amazing job and I would certainly hire them again~”

If you're thinking of getting there by tram to Beddington Lane and the 463 bus, get off instead at Therapia Lane and there are 2 bus routes to choose from: the S4 and the 463. They're not from the same bus stop, so check your live bus arrivals app while on the tram to decide which one to go for.”

“Ive been to this wee local pub a few times, always friendly and good banter! Its nice to get away from the hussle an bussle of the high street of croydon tho your only just around the corner.. wee places like this are becoming very rare and in time will eventually be pushed out by other big clubs/pubs doing student nights and cheap drinks night, this pub seems to have a loyal community following and long may it last! Ill definitely be back.”

“I flew here from Melbourne where you can't find Foster's on tap anywhere (go figure!). The beer is great, and most are pulled from a traditional pump. The fish and chips is up there with the the best I've had. This place vibes like I would hope every little street pub would vibe. It's a shame I have to fly back home to the other Croydon in Melbourne.”
