“Excellent Barbers! Yes! can get busy, that's because everyone want a great haircut and go to them. I drive 30 minutes to get my sons hair cut, have never been disappointed. The shop is always clean and tidy. We have only used 2 barbers personally(from the window barbers 2&3) they keep their equipment clean and are always friendly, cannot praise them enough.”

“Couldn’t fault anything! Me and my partner had a lovely experience from the lady behind the til, we didn’t catch her name but she was blonde, glasses and butterfly tattoo on her neck, she was absolutely lovely she made conversation with us, she made us laugh and her customer service was spot on! Very rare in nowerdays society to have a decent chat with someone who’s actually down to earth and humerus. Thankyou so much to the lady that served us today 5 stars from us! “By far my favourite M&S store! Easy to shop, the food hall is always well stocked and staff are available for assistance if needed. Friendly and helpful. Same in the clothes departments, well staffed, fitting rooms are always manned, staff welcoming and knowledgable of stock. The cafe has always been very busy so have not used yet Great store, excellent customer service, thank you M&S!”

“You can’t go wrong with IKEA! Also really great to just arrive there and have a ridiculously cheap breakfast before you walk around. I think it’s an absolutely wonderful idea and I hope they keep doing it for a long time. The place wasn’t too busy, even though it was a Sunday, and the checkouts were fast. It’s always an easy place to get around, and you always seem to find exactly what you want to fill in those little spots in the house.”

“We visited here for Afternoon Tea with Father Christmas. We were a large group of 10 (adults and children). The venue was beautifully decorated for the festive season. Food was delicious and offered alternatives for the vegetarians in our group. Joe Banana was the entertainer for the afternoon and he did not disappoint. The Father Christmas was very good. Plenty of activities for the children to keep them occupied. Would definitely return.”

“We were here for my daughter’s pizza making birthday party. Although there were some issues with finalising the details prior to the party, on the day of the party itself, my daughter and her classmates all enjoyed the experience thoroughly. Each child received a starter, their own designed pizza and dessert. The party was mainly managed by Julianna who was a great host in making sure everything went through smoothly without it feeling rushed.”

“Came on a Tuesday evening and it was a really nice atmosphere, not overly busy and very quick service. The staff were extremely quick to correct my order when I forgot to mentioned removing a sauce that I didn't like, they were very quick to bring out a new burger and made me feel like it wasn't a bother for them even though I felt so bad! We will definitely be back!”

“We were seated fairly quick even with the normal Friday rush. And plush we had our little one and push. Got seats which had plenty of space for all of us. Food came quick and friendly helpful staff. Easy to order via the app or online so no need to wait in the queue to order food.”

“We had the best Nandos we’ve ever had here, we’re from up north and have traveled quite a lot so we’ve been to many Nando’s!. It was so hot I had to blow my food before eating! Really impressed and made our weekend. We did have to que to get in as there’s not a lot of space.”

“Not knowing what to expect in my new small town I was a bit apprehensive to call Lakeside & Purfleet Taxis. I was pleasantly surprised. My driver Paul was here within minutes in a nice clean car and was very friendly and pleasant. I am very pleased to know I can depend on them for future needs.”

I had my bridal shower here, a party of 10, and the staff were very catering to our needs, allowed my friends to set up early before I arrived and helped with the tidy up of our own stuff as we left. They allowed us to take our time and enjoy the party, even past closing hours for them. Decor is up to date and modern. Food was fantastic (we had the afternoon teas). Overall great experience and will defo be coming again to bring more family and friends in the future, definitely worth the trip!”
