“My experience has been really great since joining the Central Uxbridge Surgery. The doctors and the team have been so helpful. Christina, in particular, has been such a friendly face and has always been so welcoming and easy to talk to. She has always listened and taken on any concerns or queries I have had and has always tried her best to find a resolve. She’s a gem and a real asset to the team! Dr. A Abas has been an incredible GP, he was the first doctor I had seen since joining the surgery and his calm, polite and warm nature really helped me feel at ease. As my local surgery, I find that I'm actually able to see them face to face within 10 days of making an appointment. There can be a wait to see staff, even when you arrive on time. “I was booked in with Boots in Uxbridge for a rabies jab today, the first of 3. The booking has been in place for 3 weeks and I have been waiting my turn. This morning I got a cancellation due to staff sickness. They gave me a number to ring which turned out to be their deliveries hub and when I rang Boots the store and chose option 3 for the pharmacy I was greedted with a message saying that they were too busy to take my call. Please call back and they hung up. I tried 4 times without success. Having planned my working week around today I then set about trying to find somewhere to get this done today. My first call was to Garners also knows as The Uxbridge Travel Clinic and they said they could fit me in today as long as I did not turn up between 1pm and 2pm which was no doubt lunch time I got there about 1420, paid to park just outside and went in After about a minute I was asked to fill out a form and then asked to sit in a cubicle where I was joined by a member of staff The injecion was given efficiently and the whole procedure took may be less than 15 minutes I was very impressed by the whole thing and will go back for Rabies part two next week I can whole heartedly recommend this pharmacy”
