“I went to The Princess Head for a Sunday roast, mainly because it was featured in the American TV series Ted Lasso, and I’ve been exploring the hidden gems of London lately. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from the food since touristy spots can be hit or miss, but wow… it completely blew me away. We ordered both the chicken roast and the lamb roast. Both were delicious, though slightly on the expensive side. I had the lamb roast, and it was beyond words; beautifully tender, literally falling off the bone, with rich, velvety gravy, golden roast potatoes cooked to perfection, and creamy cauliflower cheese that tied everything together. The chicken roast was fantastic too, but the lamb was definitely the star of the show. The ambience was warm and inviting, full of charm, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout. You’ll spot quite a few American tourists enjoying the vibe, which adds to the lively, welcoming feel of the place. To top it off, the pub sits right opposite a beautiful little park, and the surrounding street has that quintessential English charm, dotted with small shops selling things related to the show. All in all, it’s the kind of spot that makes you fall in love with London all over again, a true gem I’d highly recommend! ✨”

“The Old ship is a classic lunch time spot in Richmond. They have a lot of space both down and upstairs, with the upstairs being an unbelievable event space. We come regularly for lunch and it never fails. As a gluten free man the cider battered fish and chips went down a treat, as well as the pint in the picture below ‘Bandit’. One of nicest gluten free pints I have had in years.”

“We had a brilliant time at So Bar for a cocktail masterclass! Highly recommend for an event or celebration. The venue is perfect and the team make sure the class is personalised to the group. The cocktails were delicious and Tom and the team made sure everyone had a great time. Definitely recommend thank you So Bar!”

“What a fantastic experiance! I always thought that the Ivy was a somewhat on the more expensive scale but it was class reasonably priced with delicious food, amazing wine selection and fantastic service! The decor was totally magical even in the toilets! Loved it and highly recommend!”

“Stayed here for several days on a trip to London. All the staff we encountered were pleasant, friendly and welcoming. The room itself was very fresh, clean and had a good amount of space. We had twin beds, a small table and chair set, an opening window, TV, small area to hang and store clothes, plus the bathroom. There was also air conditioning in the room, and it wasn't the most powerful but a welcomed addition. We had the breakfast, cooked breakfast and cold items like cereal and fruit were there. Not a massive selection, but enough to keep you going for the day going forward. Hotel felt safe as well. The hotel has great access to bus stops, virtually outside the door which can help you get around the area or down to the train/tube station. Although the walk to Richmond town is not far if you are able to do the walk.”

“I have been visiting this Kokoro for months and I have NEVER been disappointed with the quality of the food and the service. The food is fresh made on the day and they often make the sushi for my daughter and I when they don’t have ready. The employees are kind and friendly. I highly recommend!”

“Always a fantastic and pleasurable experience when sat in the chair with Kenny. I came in feeling all doom & gloom and left feeling super confident in myself and full of life! Kenny's attention to detail is second to none and this barber shop really is a staple to the local community. The drinks fridge is a special touch too ;-) All in all I have to score no less than a 10/10. Quite simply the best trim and service I've had in a very long time.”

“My wife and I made a last minute booking with Original Travel; they took my brief and then responded quickly with a plan. we reviewed, made a few changes with input from them, and booked the trip. (Two other travel companies had failed to arrange a similar trip). Thereafter whatever unforeseen events interfered in moving locations or hotels was taken care of by OT and their concierge service. The trip, which included going to the Artic, and then north Norway, loads of excursions, all went to plan. Great trip!”

“I discovered this great place where I had snow amazing dance experience. I learnt Bachata & Salsa. Not far from East Putney Station. Pleasant atmosphere, good music and great energy among everyone. This is a monthly party which attracts many dancers. Definitely recommend it for the energy and to dance Bachata & Salsa.”

“As a huge fan of Persian & Iranian cuisine, I have to say that this place is a solid 10. The garlic and sesame naan was fragrant and deliciously paired with the juicy koobideh kebab. The rice were fragrant and the flavours enhanced when we asked for some butter to go with them. Good indoor and outdoor seating. Attentive service. Fair pricing about £25pp”

“Hawthorn is 100% your new go-to spot in Kew/Richmond. For some background, everyone who I was with for dinner had previously dined at the Glasshouse at some point in their lives, so when we all arrived for dinner at Hawthorn, we were intrigued about how it would compare… AND WOW our expectations were blown out of the water. Not only did we each quite literally lick the plates clean, but we all felt that each course was complex yet also felt so simple and just plain delicious. We heard that the restaurant just opened a couple of weeks ago, but the food tasted as if the chefs have been cooking together for years. Whether you are there for lunch or dinner, either set menu is incredibly well priced (especially when the food quality is at this level). The sommelier is incredible, suggesting perfect pairings for each course to accommodate every taste bud or finding a bottle that works with a table of diners who ordered a mixture of seafood and meat mains! Conveniently it’s also right next to Kew Gardens station or a short walk from Richmond station - very easy to get to and definitely worth a trip. What an amazing new restaurant in Kew!”

“Wonderful little brunch cafe with excellent food and friendly service! The cafe is nice, with a chilled out, relaxed feel to it. Lots of seating in the garden outside and some tables on the street at the front. The food is excellent. Very tasty. Full English was done very well with excellent quality sausages!”

“I cannot say enough good things about Riverdog - they are the most popular grooming service in Richmond for a reason. Every time Pickle comes back looking (and smelling) amazing - and you know the team really care about the dogs they are looking after! They especially understand different breed styles - which as a Cavapoo owner is the different between a teddy cut or coming out looking like a skinny poodle!! Book well in advance as they are very booked up!!!”

“Very elegant, nice and quiet place for breakfast or lunch. Feeling warm and cozy sitting by the side of the window. It’s shame that the menu is not available today but still have variety food selection including toast, sandwiches, cake, tart or cookies etc. Latte smell really good and hot. The seller patiently explain to us what ingredients for the sandwich while my little one can’t eat spicy. It’s a 5 stars cafe!”

How they can offer, to a large group, such a great range of meals to such a high standard is beyond me. We have already booked for next year !”

There’s an Italian barista there who truly stands out – she is warm, hospitable, and has such a kind, welcoming presence. She makes excellent coffee with great attention to detail, and her patience and friendly attitude toward every customer really make the café feel special. It’s rare to find someone so professional yet genuinely caring. Highly recommend this spot for both the amazing coffee and the wonderful service!”
