“Hidden Gem In Putney I recently visited The Arab Boy and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The atmosphere of the pub is cozy and welcoming, a perfect blend of traditional charm and modern comfort. I ordered the fish and chips, and it was simply divine – crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside, just as it should be. To complement my meal, I enjoyed a pint of Guinness, which was perfectly poured and served cold. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure that everything was to my liking. Whether you’re looking for a great spot to relax with friends or just want to enjoy some delicious British classics, The Arab Boy is the place to go. I highly recommend it to anyone in the area – you won’t be disappointed!”

Enjoyed a garden BBQ, hosted by the manager who didn't set any prices just asked for donations to support the pub. “Absolutely beautiful pub! From the stunning wooden beamed exterior, to the quaint delightful interior, the Blackhorse, is exactly how a pub ought be. The menu options are fantastic, with options for kids and adults alike. So something for everyone - even fussy kids! I love visiting the Blackhorse, with my partner and teenage kids, and we always have a wonderful time, and have created some amazing memories there over the years. I look forward to creating many more memorable moments at the Blackhorse.”

“I had a great stay at this hotel. The property itself is nice, modern, and very well-kept. The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The hotel also has on-site parking which was good. Even when the main car park was full, the staff would arrange additional parking elsewhere There are lots of restaurants and food spots nearby, giving plenty of options for meals. Plus, the transport links to Central London are very good, making it easy to get around. Overall, a smooth and enjoyable stay and i’d definitely recommend”

“We decided to have a late Summer gathering and were a number of 10. I booked online but rang The Eagle to discuss as wasn’t sure what the weather would be and how best to accommodate our number. I was helped by a very nice member of staff with my booking and gave the returnable deposit. We were given an outside Shack which was nice to have drinks in but moved to another table with benches to eat as it was a more suitable height. Most of us had the Sunday Lunch which had a variety of veg and we could have more Yorkshires or gravy if we wanted. It was very nice having table Service and not having to go to the bar to buy drinks. We paid individually so weren’t presented with one large bill trying to differ up at the end, which helped in a large party. The Eagle wasn’t particularly busy on this particular Sunday afternoon -I have seen their garden rammed before and I wonder if it had been busier we would have had such bespoke service. The only downside was two choices of red wine a Malbec and a Pinot Noir were not available. But all the staff encountered were extremely welcoming and polite and the garden is a delight.”

The pub was completely shuttered all over covid and I was worried that it would close forever, but it's back now under new ownership. It's clearly a good place for watching sport.”

“What a lovely pub/restaurant. They accommodated our party of 4 very well. Which included my elderly dad who is blind. We felt very well looked after during our stay. Breakfast was good but as it wasn't busy it was sat under the heaters waiting so didn't feel as fresh as it could have. Bus stop outside or a 10 min walk to the Tube. Staff were pleasant and I will certainly stay again. Good value at the time of booking as had an offer on.”

“Hidden Gem in Putney! The pub is light and airy with a buzzy, friendly atmosphere - with a large outdoor area too. We sat inside in the dining area for our meal and all chose the roast chicken - which was absolutely amazing! The portions were generous, the chicken was served with roast potatoes, a variety of veggies and a giant Yorkshire too. The accompanying gravy was so so good! We also enjoyed a few of the spritz’s which were refreshing on a sunny afternoon. Big thanks to Archie and Holly - nothing was too much trouble and they were so welcoming! The Coat and Badge is our new favourite roast spot - we’ve already booked back in with a group of friends for next week!”

“A neighbourhood local irish pub thats open till 3am on Fridays and Saturdays. Service is very friendly and attentive. The place is a cute mix of traditional pub with a flaire. They serve Guinness, kronnenburgh, rekorderling, prosecco, wines and all the usual drinks of a pub.”

“Really good, old school pub. No pretence, no nobs, no shoreditch type helmets. A locals pub it seems, subtle art deco styling inside. Hasn't been refurbished in years and all the better for it. Well priced beers too, a few ales on tap and the regular lagers. Went in on a random Tuesday, they had an open mic poetry night on. Actual people speaking, listening and not engrossed in their phones”

“Good range of craft beer on tap that changes occasionally (more IPA’s please!). Sports screens showing whatever big event is on and good pizzas (used to be pies so assume the kitchen changes every so often). Good outdoor areas and staff seem very personable”
