It's also super dog friendly, which was just awesome. We will definitely be back!”

“This is such a wonderful little food place, but the staff here don't make it feel like another chain restaurant, they are friendly and charming to customers and work like a well oiled machine to get people served and keep the food topped up. “The Little Waitrose at Shell Horsley is a genuinely convenient stop. It's more than just a petrol station shop; it's a well-stocked mini-supermarket. I appreciate the quality of their ready meals and fresh produce, perfect for grabbing a quick, decent dinner. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful, even during busy periods. While it's a smaller selection, they manage to pack in a good variety of Waitrose essentials. It's ideal for those last-minute bits, or when you need to top up on quality groceries without a full supermarket trip. The addition of the coffee machine is a nice touch too, for a quick pick me up. Overall a good experiance for a petrol station based shop.”

“I thought this place was a really good find! Located opposite the hospital, 10-15 walk from Guildford centre. I stayed in a single room, as I just needed somewhere to put my stuff overnight. The room is a standard single room size enough for a single bed, hanging space for clothes and a small desk and chair. . They provided tea and coffee making facilities, a hairdryer and a robe. The robe was needed as I had a shower room to myself, but was located down the hall (also remember to fetch slippers) Luckily though, it was very quiet when I stayed and only saw one other guest. The hotel itself is clean, nicely decorated with nice fittings. The shower room was a bit small, but couldn’t fault the power shower! Again lovely and clean. The room was also well presented and good value for money. The lady at reception was really welcoming and friendly. Also to note the doors don’t lock by themselves so make sure to take your key with you and lock doors behind you when you leave your room. I didn’t have food here, as my stay was really short but the menu seemed nice. Overall a pleasant stay and great value for money!”

“We were staying at The Harbour Hotel as an anniversary treat and so we decided to have a meal here. There was a great atmosphere on arrival, with the experience from start to finish being amazing. I couldn't fault the service at all and the food was absolutely amazing. Our server Finn was also great. I certainly would highly recommended The Long Bar & Grill.”

“Wow, wow, wow! I recently had the pleasure of boarding my Otterhound, Otti, at Weyfarm Boarding Kennels, Ottershaw, Chertsey, and I can’t express how thrilled I am with the experience! Initially, I was quite anxious about leaving him for two weeks, especially since I usually entrust his care to his original breeder. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, I needed to find a new place, but my worries quickly vanished once I found this gem. From the outset, the booking process was seamless. I appreciated being able to upload Otti's medical information and confirm his kennel cough vaccination, which made me feel more secure about his stay. I was genuinely nervous about leaving him without any prior trial run, but my concerns were unfounded. Upon arrival, I was impressed by how secure and well-managed the facility is. The staff were professional and willing to answer any questions I had, putting my mind at ease. Dropping Otti off was a breeze, and the entire process was remarkably smooth. Today, when I picked him up, I was greeted warmly and the check-out process was just as easy as check-in. To my delight, Otti was back in my arms within minutes! It was clear to me that he’d been well cared for and treated amazingly during his stay. I’m so grateful to have found a boarding place that prioritises quality and truly cares for the dogs entrusted to them. I’m already looking forward to booking again for next year! “ordered a kung po chicken , egg fried rice and salt and chilli pepper chicken. i believe it took less than 15 minutes for the whole order to be prepared. food tasted really good and quite worth for its price (20£) as I’ve got half left over and im quite a big eater. The kung po chicken doesn't really taste like the authentic ones I’ve had and leans towards the sweet and sour side but it still tastes good nonetheless. Will definitely be back (a bag of prawn crackers was also given)”
