“I had a lovely meal here with some friends. Have not been for a few years but had massively improved. Despite it being a busy evening with a party, the service was impressively smooth and friendly. Our waiter, Callum, was really friendly and helpful and made our experience even better. The food was genuinely great and what you expect from a country pub. The Christmas decorations and open fires made it that much more welcoming, relaxed and cosy.”

“Went here for a blood donation drive and the location is good surrounded by quiet and a small park. The hall inside has the old school architecture look and feel and I found it charming. Well maintained with ladies and gents facilities on premises.”

“This is a wonderful little gem on Radlett High Street (Watling Street) by the roundabout going towards Borehamwood. Many people do not realise it's there but it is well worth a look. It has a wonderful atmosphere and surprisingly cheap drinks for the area. I've always found both the staff and the patrons to be very friendly and welcoming. The cheese nights and Bbqs that are held there are wonderful. All are welcome to pop in and take a look before joining, so if you fancy a regular venue to have a drink and play either snooker or pool why not try it!”

“We have been using the Rasal for nearly 20 years and they never fail us. Recently we noticed smart, new, heat insulated takeaway bags so our food arrived piping hot and as delicious as ever. Definitely our favourite Indian restaurant in the area.”

“A lovely friendly pub. Very popular with the locals of Croxley Green but you’re made to feel very welcome on arrival. Seating outside front garden & also out the back garden which is nice, but over looks the car park. The car park can get full at peak times but not normally a problem to find somewhere local to park. Dogs are allowed both inside & outside and on the few occasions we have visited there has always been many dogs here. The vibe seems really chill & relaxed. Food is good, I always go for the superfood salad as it’s simply the most amazing thing which sounds strange for a salad but it’s amazing!”

“This has to be one of the best Lebanese restaurants in London. I went with my wife, we had Sambusek lahma (fried pastry with spiced meat inside) and Soujouk (spiced sausages submerged in a nice tomato and lemon sauce) for starters and then shared one of the dishes listed under the home kitchen section on the menu: Kibbeh bil Laban, amazing plate with rice, yogurt, pine nuts and the “Kibbeh” (minced beef, deep fried inside bulgur wheat oval shaped pieces). Delicious, this is made the proper way (I have tried Kibbeh elsewhere, and this is the way). The fresh juices deserve a special mention too, I had Melon and my wife Pineapple and they were delicious. I specially found the Melon one to be exceptionally good. I will definitely come back and will recommend this to all my friends.”

“I seek out Georgian food anytime I have the opportunity, so I have to visit this place whenever I'm in London. It is definitely one of the best Georgian restaurants I have ever been to (and I've been to a lot - in Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Greece, and the US). The food is absolutely divine, the restaurant atmosphere is cozy, and the service is great as well. Highly recommend the vegetarian stew - Ajabsandali. You won't be disappointed!”

“Our last walk of the year on the 30th Dec 2023, resulted in us having a small refreshment stop here. We were warmly welcomed, upon entering this gem of a traditional pub. The menu looked to be a great choice of the usual pub food. I'll note here that there's a large selection of pies. Which included their Festive December Pie. We weren't hungry on this occasion so chose their basket food, which was reasonably priced and arrived quickly. The rest room facilities were clean and tidy, and I'll note the men's was larger than most for this area. A queue for these would be a rare thing I'd say. In summary a cosy atmosphere, and warm unlike many pubs I've visited recently. I am looking forward to another walk in this area, so I can try out the pies of The George and Dragon.”
