“We had dinner and tried a few drinks from the new cocktail menu—they were absolutely delicious. The mixed platter for two was fantastic; the meat was simply cooked but packed with incredible flavor. We also enjoyed the homemade tzatziki, Caesar salad, and one of their signature soups, which was outstanding. The service was excellent, full of smiles and warmth. Highly recommended, especially for parties, as they have a spacious room downstairs!”

“This spot near Chinatown is such a gem. Proper cheap and cheerful, big portions and the flavours are spot on. The waiter took us upstairs to the loft seating and honestly, sitting in the sun while tucking into all that food was just lush. Top picks have to be the fresh beef brisket pho, octopus salsa, Vietnamese sausages with prawn fried rice and the grilled king prawns. Everything came out super quick and tasted banging. Staff were really friendly too.”

“The best Japanese in the area; delicious food, reasonably priced, great service - you can't ask for much more than that. I went on a Sunday afternoon when it was fairly quiet, and had a variety of dishes (all pictured). The service was speedy and friendly, and offered advice on menu items. The sushi tasted fresh, the curry was unique and flavourfull, and the beef don was so good - I'd highly recommend it. For two people having a decent amount of sushi, two main meals and a drink each (one tea, one beer), it came to £40, not bad at all. Overall, try Hibagon if you're in the area, it's well worth the trip.”

“This pub has it all: nice bar with an above average selection of beers and cider on tap, bar snacks to full meals, quiet conversation area and sports on TV, outdoor covered seating or garden, a dart board and a children's play area. Nicely decorated with photos of the area 60-70 years ago and bookshelves. The friendly staff make it a very welcoming place, with a fun atmosphere. On site parking makes it an easy choice.”

The warm welcome lured us in and we were not disappointed. Recommendations for drinks, a very well looked after 9 year old and plates finished. Not residents of London but frequent visitors. “Had a private Xmas party here for 100 friends and family, the food and venue was superb. Everything was well.organised from start to finish and the management were excellent making sure all our guests were well.looked after. Would definitely recommend. Reading some of the previous reviews, there are some negative ones regards the management, this was the old management which has been replaced with younger more dynamic and friendly management. I had previously met the old owner about 3 years ago and he was a very rude man, luckily he is no longer there.”

“Came with the hubby to try out the new naughty bingo that’s running and the new 2 for 1 cocktail deal. Absolutely hilarious. Staff really get involved to make it fun for everyone! The bar staff were lovely and cocktails were lush. Tried out the new kitchen menu and the all the food tasted fresh and came fairly quickly even though it was busy. I told them I had a gluten allergy and the chef personally assured me that they can accommodate to this.”
