“Had a delicious birthday meal here last week. Food was absolutely delicious (we opted for the tapas style dishes which were all very yummy) and our servers were extremely kind and welcoming!”

“Visited on a Thursday for Irish music night. The pub is lit with candles. It’s cosy and atmospheric. Music started around 9.30pm and it was traditional Irish music. Enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and the toilets were clean. Outside garden available if needed.”

“Twickenham Jazz Club is the best in West London and based in Twickenham near the station. Lesley Christine who runs the club books excellent bands , who are all experienced and impressive musicians. Last night’s was superb and featured the Alex Hutton & Nicolas Meier Quartet. The atmosphere is moody and perfect for listening to great jazz. If you like jazz then I couldn’t recommend it more highly! Richard”

“I’ve been here many times since first coming across it, almost always to have food and it has never disappointed!! The food is so good, the staff are lovely and the prices are more than reasonable. As someone who is rarely impressed by food when eating out, I’m still suprised that everything I or my friends have ordered here has been delicious, from kebabs, to burgers to fajitas. Come hungry, the portions are huge!”

“The Thai kitchen here is first class. The pub is also very nice for a drink or two. But the Thai food is legit, been several times and it's often full, and even more encouraging - a LOT of Thai people eat there. One of the best Thai restaurants in London at the moment.”

“Really lovely pub where the Sunday lunch is epic! I didn’t even take a picture of my pie but it was incredible - completely homemade and will defo return! If you want a full Sunday Roast then you need to book - but we were lucky there were pies available for the walk-ins! Staff super friendly and attentive and food incredible! AJ’s Pies are perfect!”

The outdoor garden area was particularly enjoyable, providing a perfect spot to relax with a drink. The live music was an added bonus, enhancing the overall experience.”

“1st time and it was a lovely pub near the Rugby (and I could park my motorcycle in the street). The young staff were welcoming, even when I asked if I could have 3 pints of Naked Ladies, if I wasn't being wound up by my buddies who drink there regularly for rugby. BTW they have Erdinger in bottles, including alcohol free so I could enjoy a beer.”

“This hotel/pub it was a nice random place that surprised us with a delicious burger and a nice kind of relaxing atmosphere. Kind of because it is by the main road, but relaxing because it was sunny, you can see Thames river over the road and enjoy a pint and some food. The staff was friendly, quite helpful, and polite even they were massively understaffed and they were running all over. The management should do their job better and not exploy their people, but ot might be the exception as it was a sunny day and lots of people joined us so this time I will not consider this in my review. We will update it if we return, and it will be a similar situation. Parking is available on the back of the hotel or on the side streets, but with limited access.”

“Served by a lovely girl with curly hair in a ponytail and hoop earrings, I assume she was new from how her coworkers were talking to her, but she was brilliant nonetheless, perfect service from her. Especially in comparison when we first came to the bar and none of the servers came to us for at least 3 minutes”

“I came here for England New Zealand first rugby match full stop the atmosphere was electric I'm used to Football Club's crashing but this was very different. Everybody got on it was very busy but you got served very quick at the bar”

“I’ve been here multiple times over the years and have always had first class service and quality food. The staff are always super welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere is great. An absolute go to for our group of mates who come here for our reunion lunches and catch-ups. 100% recommend, especially if heading onto a rugby game afterwards! Looking forward to our next visit!”

“Visited this pub after the Womens Rugby World Cup Final and despite being understandably very busy the service and the staff were brilliant, can't fault anything about the Admiral Nelson, would deffo recommend 100% whether you're visiting Twickers or not”

“We had the pleasure of eating here over 2 days (morning and evening) We were staying at Premier Inn next door due to work. Sharon and Jack could not do enough to make our experience a very pleasant one. Everything done with a smile and a chat. I had the steak and ale pie Monday evening - just WOW! Tuesday evening Katsu chicken - equally as nice. Sharon was on breakfast Tuesday morning and we were met with a smile and a lovely greeting and very nice breakfast. Jackie looked after us yesterday and was lovely and attentive too. Lovely food, brilliant staff great atmosphere.”

“Visited Stella's for the first time yesterday after being recommended by a friend, I must say I wasn't disappointed! Food was lovely,i ordered the smash burger and fries, it was delicious and reasonably priced. great atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommend. Will definitely be returning.”

“We had our Work Christmas Lunch on 18/12/2025, the Christmas menu was AMAZING! Plenty of food on the plate, we ordered some extra trimmings, which wasn't necessarily needed but definitely happy we had them as the food was sooo good we just could stop eating! Service was friendly and the whole lunch was a success. All my team commented afterwards how great the Christmas Lunch was this year. Thank you very much!”

“An excellent Sunday lunch at The White Swan. Not that many tables, so we'd reserved for 3x in advance, but just a few days before. The weekend before Christnas, so we were pleased to be fitted in. A lovely table right by the bar, immediately friendly service, a drink for me, whilst waiting for the rest of the party. The Sunday roasts were excellent, great pudding as well. I had a steak, and it was cooked to perfection - tender,juicy and bursting with flavour. The cocktails were also wonderful. After receiving only generic confirmation emails and no further communication, we visited the pub a week prior to our booking, only to discover it was still under construction. Dec, the Area Manager, was present and clarified that a mix-up had occurred, and our reservation should have been canceled. Following some concern, Dec successfully rebooked our lunch arrangements at the Barney Arns in Twickenham. Our visit to the Barney Arms was met with exceptional service from Chloe, who demonstrated remarkable helpfulness and understanding, effectively alleviating any concerns we had. Our Christmas luncheon was exceptional, characterized by outstanding cuisine and a superb ambiance. The staff provided exemplary service. Dec, Chloe, and the team provided exceptional assistance. We will certainly be rebooking for next year. Thank you for making our Christmas Day truly special.”

“I’m a big fan of this local pub. I used to live just around the corner, and it truly felt like a second home — or even a cosy grandparents’ house. It’s surprisingly spacious, with chic dried flower arrangements on every table (even the cutlery boxes are lovely). The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, and the staff are friendly, smiling, and attentive — not overbearing, just genuinely kind and efficient. They regularly rotate seasonal beers, so there’s always something new to try, and the food is consistently good. You can watch sports on TV, play darts, enjoy a few board games, and there’s even something to keep the kids entertained. A proper gem of a pub.”
