“Excellent restaurant. Had lamb chops with saag bahji, started with prawn puri, all very good. Chops massive, but could've done with a bit more seasoning, in saying that, they were lovely. Very busy on a Saturday evening, with repeat customer's and take away orders Highly recommended. Paul”

“I am 60 and currently employed in Legal Services by Enfield Council and for the last couple of months have stayed over 2 days a week. I live in south Manchester and there are numerous local pubs but none as good as The Kings Head. The staff are incredible as is the Landlady and could not have been more friendly and the locals are the same. Quite simply one of the finest public houses I have ever been to and I have certainly been to many this last 42 years or so all around the country.”

“Visited here with my husband and son. The food was very decent but what made our evening was the service from Jenny who was honestly outstanding! We cannot praise her enough. She was so welcoming and extremely efficient. Even though the restaurant was busy and everyone was rushed off their feet, Jenny still managed to be attentive and her service was second to none!”

“I went to The Pied Bull with my girlfriend and her sister and parents and I couldn’t fault it one bit. I ordered the chicken burger with chips while my girlfriend had the steak pie which was cooked to perfection. Proper pub food for offer that were reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and welcoming to us, especially Daisy as she was our waitress throughout our time there. The whole place was really clean and cosy with classic 80’s and 90’s music that fit the vibe they’re going for. Great food and lovely atmosphere! Will definitely be coming back again soon!”

“I thought I would be hard to beat the Wetherspoons lunch deals on a budget but here they have. Cheaper for a meal (with a drink) and the food was quite nice. The pulled pork wrap seemed to be missing a bit of pork but the rest was on par.”

“My favourite Thai restaurant in North London. Great service and incredibly flavoured food. They have separate vegetarian and vegan menus. Be cautious with the vegetarian menu as they still include fish sauce in the currys. I highly recommend the Green or red curry, they have a good spice level and very good portion size.”

My mum and I have visited Crews Hill at Christmas time for the past 10 or so years and have always finished off the day's shopping at the garden centres by having a well deserved dinner at the Plough. Staff were friendly and the food was excellent. My burger (cheese and bacon) was cooked to perfection! Chips were fantastic too. I also had the side of onion nests which I can highly recommend. Will be back again next year!”

“We've been here around 4-5 times in the last couple of years, and it has been pretty consistently great - especially when compared to similar places in the area. We've normally taken a (very well behaved) golden retriever, and that was originally the main draw to the place, but after a good first visit.. and a good second one, it's become a default choice. The servers are been friendly, human, chatty. The food has been pretty consistently great, and the menu is very well put together - there is something for everyone, although an additional vegi option would probably be helpful. The doggy menu is a really nice touch, and it is suitably priced (often these things are over priced - which detracts from the overall intent). Overall would recommend it. The vibe is friendly/family/relaxed.”

“We had such a good time at the karaoke last night. The bar staff were great and the karaoke DJ played a good mix of music inbetween songs. Even though it was busy the dj made sure everyone who wanted to sing got a turn. We will defo be back.”

“Staying locally we have visited this venue a few times with our children and 2 dogs. A very friendly, welcoming fun place that has a fantastic atmosphere. Due to refurbishing the kitchen, food was not available. However, the pub owners recommended, adjacent is a barge boats on the canal "Baltic Seafood" where we could purchase food and bring back to the pub to enjoy. The TV was showing live sport and we al enjoyed playing a game of darts too.”
