“Turns out, the small chinese takeaway with the single chinese auntie at the counter that wants cash payment will be a good experience. Excellent food for a takeout place, and the fact that its so near to me makes it even better. Will be becoming a regular there.”

“If you are craving a Turkish takeaway, trust me when I say, Efes is the place to order and nowhere else! You can trust this place for quality with your eyes closed. I have been ordering for years and it is consistently great. I am never disappointed. I ordered my favourite lamb ribs, you get 7 chunky pieces, they were fresh, meaty, well seasoned and cooked perfectly on the grill. Served with delicious Turkish rice done as it should be, the most delicious homemade chilli sauce which I love so much ( I must say my only complaint is that they don’t give enough of it, its too small for the meal). You also get a grilled pepper and tomato, garlic sauce, lovely bread and salad. The portion is generous and served piping hot. I just love Efes. When you think Turkish food think Efes ❤️”

“Lovely steak house, premium cuts of meat and rich menu to choose from. They also do a lunchtime menu too. Restaurant is spacious and warm, suitable for kids. We tried the bone marrow for starters and lamb chops, really good flavours especially with the sauces. Definitely one of the best places to eat in this area.”

“I hope this cafe never closes and helped to be maintained and be even better. The cafe is so important to families and the local community. Sadly Barking has become an absolute rookery , and barking park once being a landmark is one of the very few things left that gives the town any appeal and would be in despair without it. Keep the cafe, and the warm friendly people who run it and ai hope the local government make it even great again.”

Sufien was absolutely wonderful, so helpful with showing me options, helping me measure for the space, and all with such a lovely attitude - the definition of excellent customer service! Very helpful both in store and on WhatsApp messages during the decision making process. And very affordable prices which makes having luxurious furniture all that more possible!! “First time going to Eighty's Kitchen and it did not disappoint! I had the jerk tofu which they kindly did as a student meal (normally only Jerk chicken) but I'm vegan and was heading to an exam and didn't want to feel too full. The jerk tofu and rice were incredible! I would have had peas and rice but they were in the process of cooking. Honestly I can't recommend this place enough. The food was excellent and the customer service was top notch! If I lived closer I would be becoming a regular here. *Not, the jalof rice isn't vegan.”

“A brilliant little cafe in Dagenham down an industrial estate that serves some incredible food (CASH ONLY before I forget). I had the double cheeseburger and chips and it cost 6 quid..... yeah you read that right £6, it is absolutely on point too the chips aren't floppy, soggy, under done, crispy, burnt, they're the most perfect chips I have come across and the burger meat isn't hard or rough, nit even burnt round the edges, a nice juicy soft mouthwatering burger. The portion size well just look at it, for £6 it's the price of a McDonald's meal, I know which till I'd rarther put my money into. Staff are friendly, it was a relaxed laid back place when I went which was this morning at about 9am (Friday) if it doesn't say for future viewers of this review. My colleague had the breakfast too, set 5 if I remember correctly, I didn't get a photo but it was the size of the breakfast other reviewers have posted so that hasn't changed either”

“This best pub in Barking with am African theme and atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and willing to make you feel relaxed and welcomed. It's a large pub with outdoor area and hotel next door. It's set up like a sports bar with large screens on nearly every wall so you don't miss any action. I called.in on a Sunday afternoon when it was quiet but imagine this place.osnkicking in the evenings and weekend.”
