The sweet potato chips were outstanding - perfectly crispy on the outside and delightfully soft on the inside, just as they should be. The burger was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor. While the nachos were only okay, the sauces accompanying them were tasty. My only critique is that the portion of minced meat on the nachos was a bit lacking, which affected my overall enjoyment. Nonetheless, I highly recommend Band of Burgers for their amazing food!”

I just heard they will be giving up the business at the end of this week as the landlady is being difficult and will not renew their lease, she is turning the place into flats. All about greed! “We held my grandad’s wake at The Nag’s Head last week and I honestly couldn’t fault them. Artur, the general manager, was incredibly helpful throughout and made the whole process so easy for us. The staff were kind, attentive and respectful, which meant a lot to our family on such a difficult day. “This Hotel/Pub was the perfect location for us. We were visiting a family member recovering from major surgery but also wanted to explore the area. We were not disappointed as Woking (cinema & Theatre) and the ‘Saturn Way’ were on our doorstep. As regards the hotel we were greeted by Lee who set a wonderful first impression. Nothing was too much trouble for him and the rest of the staff. The room had recently been refurbished to a high standard and was immaculately clean and comfortable. The pub itself had a wonderful relaxing atmosphere and the food was very tasty. Big thank you to Lee, Nessie and the rest of the staff for making our stay memorable. Free parking a big bonus.”

I go here more often now as the one opposite St Paul’s Cathedral has closed and I like to buy fruit especially and sometimes flowers . I never get disappointed. I found that there were various dishes but wasn't sure that it was a Thali, which is one of my favourites from the Longfield Tandoori. I phoned to ask if the Thali menu had changed. I wasn't complaining, but with no hesitation they apologised and sent a traditional Thali straight away, which arrived in minutes.
