“The best place for little train-obsessed five year olds. We have visited the site last year and this year, our little one was constantly talking about it and we had to return. We love the place, it brings so much tranquility and soothe as it moves you in time and place of calm, order and simpler life. The scenery and each detail make you appreciate the way of life we have lost, seems so precious. Pay attention to details - like name on the shops and venues, make you giggle, the train stations and trains running everywhere (the bridge by the castle!). And the horticultural care - what a masterpiece of mini elms, pines, little rivers, cascades. There is a short train ride for families and you can have some fun with operating a boat on a pond. Plenty of koi carps, would be great if we could feed them, too! (Please sell the fish food with tickets!) We discovered new room where old type writer is, what a great fun to do some scenarios and play with props. Playground is also awesome for kids, good food selection in cafe (although I would like to see more healthier options) and plenty of seating area (you can bring your own food). Thank you for being there :)”

“We went for Sunday roast and everything was fantastic! I had the nut roast and as a veggie that’s a tough roast to make, it was delicious. The others had the lamb which was cooked to perfection. Sticky toffee pudding was wonderful. Proportions were ideal, not too much crowding the plate and being wasteful but more than enough for a heart Sunday lunch. Highly recommend a visit, I’ll be back again.”

“Very smart refresh of an old tired local pub. In a side street which is rare these days and luckily hasn't suffered the fate of hundred of pubs like this and been turned into flats! .Good choice of beers and big LED screens if you like watching sport. Pleasant beer garden for the nice weather.”

“I guess this is a pub frequented by the locals as everyone seemed to know each other very well. We ordered tea followed by main courses. The chef here can really conjure up a wonderful meal. The vegetarian choice was really delicious, full of flavour and perfectly presented. The sunday roast was so gigantic in portion size! Really highly recommend trying the food menu. The tea we ordered was unfortunately tepid, rather disappointing but hey it wouldn't deter me from coming back. Good choice of pub deserving of it's high rating. Oh and its dog friendly which is a super big bonus..”

“I recently held a private event at the Railway Pub in Streatham and it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Huge thanks to Triveni, who managed my booking so professionally — she was incredibly helpful, organised, and responsive, making the whole planning process completely stress-free. On the day itself, all the staff were brilliant: friendly, attentive, and worked so hard to make sure everything ran smoothly. The venue was perfect, the atmosphere was great, and our guests had an amazing time. I couldn’t recommend the Railway Pub highly enough for private events — outstanding service all round!”

“Great pub and not going to break the bank either which is more than welcome nowadays. “Excellent hotel. Not far from restaurants. The staff were very kind and helpful. Nothing too much trouble for them. There are a few steps up to the hotel. I have a mobility scooter, to bring indoors. There was an accessible lift round the back and was helped in and out of the hotel. The restaurant food was wow good. Plenty of choice for breakfast and good quality.”

“I had a wonderful experience training with Robyn and the London Meisner Company, having finished now I miss them all so much. I think the benefits of having a group to train with weekly can’t be understated. Robyn is direct and great at what she does, but she doesn’t cross the line into being harsh which I actually experienced at a different place I studied Meisner at, so that was always appreciated. She helped me see there were many more approaches to the work that I hadn’t explored before and I can’t wait to go back to masterclass and keep it all up! My class was also full of amazing people who have become friends, so that is always a plus! Thank you Robyn!”
