“This is my my local pubs and we tried it the other day for Sunday Roast. Pleasant staff nice food and there's another area when kids can hang about. I would recommend this Sunday Roast they seve pork, beef, chicken and I think I vegetarian option”

“I really like this restaurant on the high street. The service is great and the decor and atmosphere is nice too. Never rushed to leave after finishing dinner, rather get left until we ask for the bill. It’s great for kids too as they have a nice mix of dishes which are big enough for my 13 and 10 year old girls. Food is nice a flavoursome. The staff here are all really nice and will give us good advice on the types of dishes we might like. I am a bit adventurous with my food and my family rather like the same. I always try different things and so far everything has been amazing and causes me to keep coming back. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting some tasty food. “Finally a place that understands what a skinny flat white should taste like! The black forest gateau was lovely just need more cherries and it's syrup in the middle which would have made the cake moist and ohh so delicious! I'd definitely be going back for more skinny flat whites!”

“We spent our Wednesday night at Black Horse eating the Kenyan Koroga. Best value curry I’ve had for years. The chef (Shamim )made our food exactly as we described and could see all the ingredients he used. It took approx 45 mins and included rice and naans. Highly recommend and I will definitely be returning. Dhruv at the bar was flawless, serving pints in seconds.”

“A nice warm, relaxed pub with a mixture of patrons from young to old. Great friendly bar staff and prices are reasonable. Comfortable seating areas too. Serve Guinness, some ales and some of the usual beers, spirits as standard. Can't ask for much more from a good local pub!”

“Perfect Birthday Party Venue. The venue turned out to be excellent in every aspect for my toddler's birthday party. The space , the food , the hosting & car park facility. The hotel hall was perfect for our 40 guest list with one wall side fittingly suitable for decor as suggested by them. The food was top notch. The Lotus stem appetizer and Jackfruit Biryani were the stars of the day . They had arranged for nice welcome drinks and catered separately for children’s food as well. We were able to make a corner for kids play. The best thing was there was adequate parking in the venue which the guests really appreciated. They also had a bar facility but we did not use . Thanks for making the event a huge success as it was the first party for our little one . Would definitely recommend Ember & Mist as an event venue . I like to thank and acknowledge the helpfulness of the staff and the understanding of Ember - Mist managers.”

“Exactly a year ago my wife and I got married here and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue. Ania and the team really looked after us on the build up and throughout, with great communication via email and in person. We added some dishes to the set menu and the team were so attentive bringing in the food and serving our friends and family. Luckily, they do a solid Sunday roast so we’re often back for a visit!”

“Went for a pub quiz on a Wednesday night. Nice pub. Parking. Friendly barstaff. Clean toilets. It was quiet midweek with just quiz people and others out for a meal, but much busier at weekends I think from when I've driven past before.”

“We wanted a vegan breakfast - and they do one here. It's £2.50!!! Tell me, what meal can you get served on a plate that costs £2.50??? And you know what, it was pretty good. We sat outside on the lovely garden, enjoying the sunshine. The staff are so nice and friendly, you'd think they are getting paid a lot more than min -wage. I'm not sure if they are. Leave a tip...”

Today I had breakfast best one I ever had with Passion fruit cooler. My uncle's who live in Bushey use this company on a regular basis and have said they've caused no problems, the comment below is quite clearly bias and rings a couple of questions as to how it's funny that they've rated 2 companies in Bushey out of the 3 in total, and labelled them as bad. Anyways in an honest review I have not used other companies in Bushey other than Newline, due to the exceptional service they provide. Highly recommend.”
