“Had a really lovely experience at Wagamama over the weekend. I was having a rare child-free day and was on FaceTime with my mother who lives abroad, and my server, Fatima, was just wonderful. She helped me choose the pork belly ramen - something I’d never tried before - and it was absolutely the right choice: comforting, flavourful, and perfect for the cold weather. Fatima was genuinely warm and personable, and even took a moment to be sweet and engaging with my mom on FaceTime. It was such a small gesture, but it made the whole experience feel really human and memorable. Service like that is exactly why I keep coming back to Wagamama. Fatima is a real credit to the team, and her warmth made the whole visit feel extra special.”

“Today I had unusual Turkish food. This guy has been here since 2001 and met the owner. Very nice some people should make a visit to this Mazi Restaurant in west Croydon.”

“This restaurant is superb. Everything is homemade, even the chilli and garlic sauces, and the meat is wonderfully spiced and flavoursome. It is family run and operated and the pride that goes into the food and service is apparent. I would not hesitate to dine here again and to recommend this place to friends and family.”

“We are visiting Croydon and visited Thai Express at Boxpark as we love Thai food. The pad-Thai was delicious. As it is express they have a clever straightforward menu. Waiting time for cooking fresh was around 8 minutes which was a good time whilst we walked around Boxpark. The atmosphere was unique at Boxpark. Better go and visit to experience it.”

“This restaurant is more than twice the distance of my local one but so worth the extra travel time. The dim sum was exceptional, very high quality and well made. It was also very good value compared to the nearest biggest dim sum restaurant. An unexpected added bonus was the Saturday 1pm raffle which was good fun and very generous of the restaurant. Staff and service was great too. No dedicated parking is the only negative. I highly recommend and I will be returning again soon.”

“This place is AMAZING. Im staying there at the minute and it was my birthday, my mum mentioned to staff briefly. And unofficially they delivered birthday balloons and a birthday card to my room. The hotel has such an amazing vibe to it for such a cheap price. Theres so many stores nearby, me and my friend went to an asian convenience store nearby! You NEED to come here!”

“I went with my cousin on a last minute date night, we had assorted Pepper soup and spicy Pomo for starters and Abula for main, I must say it was absolutely delicious!! The meat was succulent and the vibe was immaculate, staff were friendly and helpful. If you’re in Croydon and want Nigerian meal will definitely recommend. The chapman was refreshing too, will be visiting again”

“LOVE IT best pizza takeaway near me i don't always have pizza but when i do I NEVER go elsewhere! i swear by this place - the one near me is so great i've even tried some further out. i am eating a margarita as we speak its so good. its warm its fresh its yum - its not too chewy or dry. it comes with my FAV FREE dip, its flavourful, the cheese tastes so nice. i always get the make your own as its worth the value (i add on SO many toppings) or i get margarita. i don't eat at other pizza places they're too greasy and this one isn't! love it id eat a pizza from here all day if i had to and i would even collab with them LMAO thats how much i love fireaway. ask my friends i always feed them these pizzas at parties and they have vegan and halal options for my besties :) nice seating area, lovely staff - i met the chef :) very sweet they even gave me FREE pizza once thank you ”

“It was Lunar New Year and so I decided I'd try Wei Dao and I took some fortune cookies with me too. The ladies working there were really nice. It was not busy on Friday night, I encourage people to dine in and ditch the takeaways. It's reasonably priced and had some fun pop tunes playing in the background.”

“I've found this spot some time ago, frankly it needs a mention. Easily one of the most under rated venues in Croydon. The staff are down to earth, helpful and add a vibrant splash of colour to the place, those they come into contact with love them. “I’m a regular customer at Domino’s and I can honestly say I’ve never been disappointed. The shop is always spotless and beautifully kept, and the staff are absolutely lovely—so helpful and welcoming every single time. They always greet me with the biggest smile, which really makes a difference. As for the pizzas? Perfect, every time. Hot, fresh, and delicious. Couldn’t ask for better service or food. Ram, our host, made the experience extra special — he surprised us with a bottle of prosecco and chocolates as we were there for a special occasion, which was such a lovely touch. “We were so impressed of the staff, the reception lady checked us in early. The breakfast is amazing, overall the foods are so fresh and delicious. Adela was so kind to assist us about collecting our car from nearby mall where we parked. The hotel has a strategic location, it’s surrounded with good restaurants. “I ordered starters crispy squid, gizzard and there was another order of chofi. Must say the squid wasn’t nice at all. It was shaped like nuggets not your usual ring shape which made it taste battery instead of tasting the actual squid quite disappointing. Must say the rest of the starters that was ordered were really nice and well seasoned. Also the moko it came with was delicious. I got jollof as takeaway yet to taste it. Deffo do recommend this restaurant service was great.”

“We went on a weekday, so I’m sure the vibe will be different at the weekend. We were the only ones there for a good 30-40 mins (7.15pm on a Thursday), but a few more people came in afterwards. Don’t let it deter you though - the food was phenomenal & the service was on point. The food is some of the best indo-chinese I’ve had!”

“We came here for the buffet. There was a lot of choice, the food was incredible and we left very full. Best thing about this place is that the food is cooked fresh to order. The staff were also very friendly and attentive. I love supporting local businesses like this and prefer this style of buffet to places like Jimmy's or JRC, so we definitely will be back”

“I've had various wraps, the biryani and other dishes from the restaurant on many occasions and it's definitely the best place to get Indian take-away. I think my favourite is the lamb curry but everything is really nice! I don't often publish reviews about food but this is very good. I would highly recommend!”
