“Khan G Kababish is hands down one of the best places for Lahori food in town! Their Lahori Nashta is absolutely amazing — from the crispy halwa puri to the rich, flavorful nihari and chana, everything tastes just like home. The parathas are perfectly cooked, the lassi is refreshing, and the overall vibe makes you feel like you’re sitting in a classic Lahore dhaba. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the portions are generous. Every dish is full of authentic spices and aroma — you can tell it’s made with passion and care. If you’re craving real Pakistani food, especially traditional Lahori breakfast, Khan G Kababish is the place to go. Highly recommended!”

“Was fortunate enough to get a last minute dinner reservation at the counter, which was a great experience! The restaurant is a short walk from Old Street station. Nest offers seasonal menus and my visit was during Beef Season. Unfurling the wax-sealed menu revealed two set menu options, the short menu or longer signature menu, which I went with. A wine pairing is available however I chose my own drinks. Over the next two hours I was treated to eleven courses of incredible cooking. Despite being Beef Season the menu was interspersed with some seafood and vegetable items as well, although they had found creative ways to incorporate beef in many of the courses. I enjoyed all the dishes but some of my favourites were the tempura oyster with bone marrow mayonnaise, the sirloin carpaccio and Highland beef. Sitting at the kitchen counter added to the experience, you could tell the chefs were passionate from the way they worked together and the way they explained each dish and how they had made it. To drink I had a Nest Negroni and a glass of Slovakian red wine, both of which were excellent and served promptly. The drinks list is extensive and will suit most tastes. Nest is in an area with lots of competition and certainly holds its own. It was a great meal and I would love to return to try another season!”

“Wow! Impressive The best made musical which I have seen. Specially that i visited 3 musical for last 7 months in Madrid, Spain. It’s our first show in London so we bought the cheapest tickets and we’re impressed - the level of preparation is incredible - costumes, stage props, lighting, music, lights, actors' voices and dancing are simply amazing! 2,5 hours just flew! Someone says that you feel that 20£ is not enough for this show and I totally agree. One more surprise - view is fine from every part of the theater- we were sitting in balcony and you may see everything perfectly. Maybe small tip is to take the middle part sits. The theater themselves is quite beautiful, so it’s perfectly suits The great Gatsby show. Highly highly recommended”

“I had the most amazing stay here for my birthday. The hotel was unique with stunning decor - highly unusual but brilliant. The hotel had made every effort to recognise the occasion - the room was aptly decorated with balloons and a handwritten message on the mirror. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was nice - a lovely buffet selection. My dietary needs were catered for (gluten/dairy free). The hotel is situated in Islington - a very short walk to the canal. A morning walk along the canal to Canary Wharf and back along the Thames Path was the best start to the day! There are some beautiful spots along the canal to stop for a coffee or bite to eat - these are within a 5 minute stroll from the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel - it made a really nice change to stay somewhere a little different/unique.”

“Our group The Emerald circle club, went there for Christmas lunch. A beautiful walk welcome as soon as you got to the door, a lovely lady was there to open it for you & take your coat etc. The place was spacious, very clean & a lovely ambiance. The food was plentiful & so delicious, great variety of both food & drinks. Great service, every staff member was warm & friendly. The bathroom was kept in good condition, clean, with interesting artwork on display. It was my first time; but definitely won't be my last, Please God.”

“Charming restaurant less than 5 mins from Surbiton Rail station and opposite Sainsbury’s. The old Post Office building has been repurposed as a restaurant, fitted out in a sustainable way with genuine Turkish designs and materials. My server had a Masters in restaurant design so was knowledgeable and happy to point out some of the features. The coffee was excellent and the Nutella and sea-salt cookie was something I’d never tasted before and had a light and delicate texture. Good access for wheelchairs and my go to coffee stop in Surbiton when on foot or a motorcycle or bicycle with parking right outside the door.”

“We had a wonderful experience at To Kefi! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. A special thank you to our waitress Romina, who was so sweet and kind — she looked after us and our two girls beautifully. She even arranged for the chef to make some pasta for our little one, which we really appreciated. Thanks also to the chef for going out of her way! “We hired the whole restaurant for my 60th and had the best time, with the most delicious food and fantastic service. We couldn’t have been looked after any better. The whole team are exceptional -proactive and highly responsive when needed. We had a fantastic dj too so danced the night away after eating. The belly dancer added even more ambience to a great time had by all. Thank you everyone there. More than highly recommend you all.”

My fiancé and I visited for late lunch (a lot of places close at 3pm and reopen at 5/6pm in Fulham so we were very pleased you were open!) and had the whole place for ourselves and the very own owner serving us with the most amazing Italian food you can ever have! Do not hesitate for a second to come to this place, the vibe the music the staff the space and the FOOD were all so amazing that we felt very sad to be leaving. “We booked here for a swift supper before traveling. All worked very well. Food was excellent the fish very fresh. Pasta cooked perfectly. All the extras provided,olive oil, Parmesan cheese etc. We were served promptly. Location very good and price very reasonable for London! It was quiet noisy,but then I was very busy. Only negative,they have 5 for hygiene,however no beard net in site for the pizza man,which was a pity,as it was very clear to see. Wine prices were very good. Loos all tidy. “Excellent food at Yildiz and highly recommend! We enjoyed the lamb kofta, the Yildiz special salad, and the calamari and we were not expecting the amount of beautifully presented food including such colourful, stunning salads. The koftas/kebabs come with a bowl of delicious fresh pittas, a superb side salad with marinated onions and pickled red cabbage, and some rice. The calamari was juicy and fresh, and the Yildiz salad was enormous with really juicy delicious cubes of feta. It exceeded all expectations and was thoroughly delicious (and so filling). The menu is extensive, and caters really well to vegetarians & vegans, and all the allergens are flagged on the menu (such as molluscs or gluten). The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and knowledgeable about the menu.”

“This is a fantastic Italian restaurant and if that wasn't enough they make superb Pizzas ( I'm fussy about pizza). Happy family friendly restaurant that offers amazing deals during the week (2 x main course meal + 1 bottle of wine for just £25). Lastly perhaps of less importance to many this chef makes the best Chili oil (for Pizza) so if you like it hot this is the place to come.”

“The menu, all written in French (proof of quality!), is well balanced with choices for every mouth. The service has the perfect pace thabks to the great staff (also good as recommending wine!). The food itself is nicely cooked and presented, slight down point on the sides that would benefit from more attention (I went for the vegatables medley). Prices are adequate, especially when compared to London. A must go if you are after a good fine cuisine restaurant in the area!”
