“We popped in to look at some soft furnishings after previously visiting and having a very happy experience about two years ago.. So thinking we’d have a look about which we did only for the staff to recognise us (from 2 years previously) and be aware of what we had purchased and where we were from.. absolutely outstanding service, the owner should be very very happy with his staff. The service we always receive is second to none. So to be recognised from a previous purchase is fantastic.. Btw the furniture we purchased is still as new… So no need to go to the big furniture companies and be a number, just visit The London Road Furniture Company and feel as an individual and very valued.. “No fuss, quick and fantastic! Not oily or greasy, fresh and no fuss! Even the avocado was a good portion. Mushrooms not greasy. Good choice of vegetarian items too.”

“We went on Wednesday evening, we were greeted with a smile and showed to our table. The staff were extremely friendly and polite, and guide you with the menu. The setting is very nice and parking is easy to find. The food was quite tasty. We got the Calamari, Wings and the Prawn Tempura for starters. For the mains we got the lamb chops, wagyu surf and turf, wagyu sirloin and the wagyu t-bone steak.. and we enjoyed our food. Would I go back there again? YES! Our steaks were amazing and full of flavour,the customer service was amazing, and the overall experience was very personal. So yes, gets a 5 outta 5. Good hidden gem.”

“Excellent Service and Beautiful Sofa! I recently bought a sofa from Atmacha Furniture and I’m really impressed. The delivery team were amazing - the sofa didn’t fit through my doors, but they carefully brought it in through the back garden without any issues. The sofa itself is great quality, comfortable and looks amazing in my home. I’m very happy with both the product and the service. Highly recommend!”

“Booking was easy online. While I needed to make a time change which required a phone call, it was quick and easy to do. We went for the all you can eat tacos, but found so many yummy things on the menu we ordered other items instead. The Ghost Rider Marguerita was delicioso, the homemade chips and guacamole was excellent (pomegranate seeds were a nice touch), the Mexican Fattoush salad was fantastic - finally some health vegetables on my holiday! The chicken and carne asada tacos were small yet superb. We could have ordred another plate, if we wanted, but opted for desert instead. The Empinada for me with chantilly creame was a perfect end. My wife apprciates ambiance, which Madera has even without the 15th floor view. Though of course, having the best meal on our holiday, while watching the sunset over London was a perfect end to our day. Last, but not least Sabuj took attentive care of us all throughout our experience. We are already planning on returning soon.”

“Our family booked The Hammer In Hand for a wake yesterday. Staff were so friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. Prices were extremely reasonable and the food served was fresh with a great variety of rolls. The whole day was made so much easier with the great service we received from everyone there. Thank you. “Spacious and excellent food. Most pubs we checked out in the area are small but this place is spacious and had good seating spots. We tried their fish appetizers, sausages, and flat iron steak with peppercorn sauce. All were to our liking. Definitely recommend especially if you are new to the area. Good for family and groups. Glad to find this gem.”

“Lovely little local find! Popped in on their first day of opening and came away with a couple of fantastic BBQ rubs and a BBQ sauce that I haven’t seen being sold anywhere else. Have even used the Garlic & Butter rub when making hummus (given we haven’t had much BBQ weather!) at the very helpful shopkeeper’s suggestion. Shall be returning as have my eye on a rather stylish looking hammock!!”

“Into interiors (Sam and Jake) brought our dreams to life! They were so helpful throughout the process and understanding of our budget. At every turn we were given a multitude of options and it seemed as though everything just fell nicely into place. Thanks to them we have the kitchen of our dreams and we couldn't be happier that we found them. The quality of the kitchen units is excellent and the quartz worktops were such good value for the quality and pattern. They offered us a look at the products before we chose and it felt as though they were always available if we needed advice or to sort something quickly. Furthermore, being local they would pop around to see how things were going and any small issues were quickly sorted. We even changed the design part way through... adding a couple more units. This too was sorted quickly and did not cause any delays. I can only see their business going from strength to strength. We would fully recommend them.”

“Thank you Winter Bear for beautifully restoring a vintage chest of drawers. Sofie and Will helped with identifying good deals on ebay. Their communication has been fantastic throughout. They also created a colour board so that I could choose the perfect colour. The job took about 2 to 3 weeks which involved painting and changing handles. I will definitely be asking Winter Bear to help with any future projects.”
