“My favourite ironmonger. Everything is well laid out, the shop is always spotless and gleaming, the prices are marked and the staff very knowledgeable and helpful. I have been coming here for cleaning products, lubricating oils, paints, tools, lamps, lights, bulbs, wicks, naphtha, chimney flue cleaners, fixtures, fittings and batteries - probably more stuff than that which I've forgotten . . . like really, really long matches! Anyway, a great shop, a great place to shop and a great way to shop - I'd never get the same service on-line.”

“This morning I took delivery of a beautiful sideboard bought from Barnet Furniture centre. I was phoned to let me know the exact delivery time. It was a large heavy item and both men took great care to get it safely into my house. They did a really good job. Thankyou. I will certainly I will be back to visit the Centre. A great number of items in store, all good quality and well priced. Really helpful and friendly staff.”

“Sasha our waitress was the best. Loved her energy. Great service. Very busy as it was Christmas but still great service. Food was great all round. Had a mixture of steak pie, burger and fish and chips. An amazing pub to visit. Shout out to the chefs Dana and Mihai. Food came out pipping hot and fresh. Defo worth a visit if you’re in the area.”

“Beautiful flowers and great customer service - I made a small mistake with my order (collection details) and immediately rang up and they sorted it out for me without any issues. This was on a Friday evening for a Sunday collection so I was super impressed. And best of all, my mum loved the flowers!”

“The Oak is a fantastic Chinese takeaway, I've never been to the restaurant itself but every time I have ordered from them it has been a fast delivery and always a friendly face. The food is exceptional and the portions are quite generous (if you're missing the Hot-Wok that closed on colney hatch lane a few years ago this is a perfect alternative). Overall great food and a lot of different menu options, highly recommend.”

“This seems to be the only place left in London where you can get your child’s feet properly measured and assessed for the right shoes. I sat back and watched Marie bring out the loveliest shoes, after she had measured my daughter’s feet and assessed her tastes. Bang on. And good advice to boot. “The friendly new owners have kept the quality fruit & veg and the Greek/Cypriot faves. But they've added a really well selected range of quality foods to the mix, including plenty of stuff from small local producers. You can now buy excellent sourdough, Union coffee and hard to find ingredients like Thai basil. This is a new business that deserves local support!”

“Greenfield Pharmacy in New Barnet is an excellent local pharmacy. Not only do they manage prescriptions carefully but they are also there to help generally, provide vaccinations etc and be very accessible to answering questions; and they know who you are when you walk into their shop! I find dealing with them a pleasure; they are reassuringly proactive, supportive knowledgeable and kind.”

“V Jewellers have been amazing today. I wanted to buy a gold cross for myself and Maria Pedonomou has been so helpful and patient with me. I told her my budget and she showed me some lovely chains and crosses. Would recommend to anyone looking for lovely items of jewellery. There's definitely something for everyone here.”

“We just came out of this feeling super full and satisfied. This is our second visit as I lobe their Chicken Katsu Curry. I tried sushi today and it’s yummy! It was super busy when we arrived and nearly ended up having take away but one of the staff, Elina, managed to accommodate us. She is super sweet, attentive and looked after us well. I would be bringing my friends and family around next time. Five stars for food, atmosphere, service and beer!”

“This place is great. The service was superb my wife and I felt welcome and like home. The food was delicious. We ordered: burrata, mushroom cream soup, king prawns in garlic sauce, beef lasagne, and cremé caramel. We also had the house wine from Sicilia. Toilets and kitchen looked and were clean. There were several tables for 1-2 people, and many other for medium parties 6-8 people. We were given a shot of lime liquor at the end. The only negative aspect of the visit is seeing some flies inside, they were annoying. Sadly, this part stuck in our heads. Maybe they could be more careful with the back door.”

Frix and Dini were really helpful when I couldn’t make my mind up even arranging for me to see the bigger slabs at another location. I’m thrilled with what I chose it was exactly what I was after and the fitters were super helpful, friendly and did an amazing job too. I’d really recommend NSG - great prices, great people and most importantly great product!”
