“Ponte Nuovo has got to be the best Italian in Croydon. A great selection of starters, the bread and oil is so simple yet incredibly moreish, and the main courses are full of flavour and depth. Big big portions. Save space for the deserts, the gigantic profiteroles in a sea of chocolate sauce, the insanely rich tiramisu. Staff are very friendly and speak highly of the italian chef and kitchen staff; a sure sign of a good front of house/back of house team relationship. Service was perfect, meals bought out together and well presented. This is somewhere you bring family for a great dinner. At this time of year it had a good but not overpowering christmas decorative theme. We're going back soon.”

“I had the Sunday roast today and was genuinely impressed by the flavor. It was well-seasoned and, dare I say, even better than what I’ve had at Hawksmoor! I know that sounds bold, but it’s true. The service was fantastic as well; the staff were friendly and personable. The atmosphere was relaxing, making it a perfect spot to unwind. “Nice little boozer, friendly and polite staff and the cloudy apple Strongbow is perfect. Clean toilets, children and dog friendly. They serve a huge range of food at lunchtime which you order from the small cafe situated in the carpark. The cafe staff bring it over to you. And the food is outstanding. My only criticism is, it doesn't open until 12 noon. 11am would be better. I've used this pub a few times now. And I will definitely use it again. Nice friendly customers, sky sports, pool table and dart board.”

“I have been passing this place for long time but never tried. Today I tried for the first time. The guy who was serving me was very lovely and asked me what I liked - I said pesto, chicken and mushroom and he made me very yummy pasta food. He even double check whether I liked garlic and I don't and forgot to say so his checking helped me not to have it in my meal. The food was really yummy. The only thing I would have asked next time is not to have pasta so soft but overall, I really enjoyed and the serving person was very nice and professional!”

“Went here last Thursday as heard they did a good quiz night. Had a burger and a couple of pints of Guinness zero; burger was top notch, proper gourmet stuff and we really enjoyed the quiz, we somehow won! Only downside was that it was a bit quiet, probably helped us win the quiz though. Staff were great, very friendly and welcoming.”
