“We went at 4pm and wasn’t too busy. They have a lot of veggie options, including the veggie paella, which was delicious. I ordered the paella meant for 2 but it definitely could be shared between 3.”

“We tried this place before and we absolutely loved the food, so on our anniversary we booked again with them. Can't praise them enough. They really made an effort to make our anniversary feels special. A small touch goes a long way. They lay out the table romantically. We loved the theme, and we have agreed to go back again for our next anniversary. But in between time I am we'll go back a few more times. The food was amazing, and the Sangria is so refreshing and addictive. Can't fault anything in that place. Highly recommend. Can't wait to go back again soon.”

“A traditional restaurant that is amazing for fish and their other things as well. They just know what they are doing and cannot be faulted. It's not young, trendy and experimental, but if you have good taste and like good traditional food in a nice clean atmosphere then this is a great choice. A nice local restaurant that locals appreciate and is worth travelling to as well.”

“I have been coming to Señor Ceviche for YEARS and I can’t believe I’m only leaving a review now! I have never been disappointed, they have some of the best ceviche I’ve ever had and their chifa chicharrones are to die for. Service is always so nice and impeccable and today had the pleasure to be served by Diana who tempted me into trying the brunch menu, which was amazing value for money! The chocolate mousse for dessert was outstanding. A great choice and pretty much everything on the menu is a safe option cos you just know it’s gonna be delicious! Can’t wait to be back!”

“After a reservation mixup somewhere else, we wondered by this fantastic Portuguese Restaurant on UK's Mother's Day. They surprisingly had one open reservation on Open Table and took us. Everything was amazing: Food, Service, and Atmosphere! We had red snapper, lamb chops, sea bass, roasted pork belly, and calamari. Everything was perfect! Loved the owner and her sons. They were so hospitable and just lovely. Will definitely be recommending this place to others.”

“I thought I had peaked with the snacks, but everything was fantastic and continued to impress. Service was outstanding. The staff were helpful and warm. The environment was inviting, relaxing, with a mix of music playing giving it a cool and accessible vibe - it didn’t feel the slightest bit pretentious. I will be back without a doubt! “The menu was expansive and if you're like us and you're not sure what to order, go for the 'Feasting Menu'. It says it's for two but we could share two sets amongst 5 of us, 3 below 15 years old. The highlight for us were the vegetarian options such as the Sweet Potato & Feta Taquito. The sweet potato was baked and the insides were creamy and sweet. Topped with feta cheese, tomatoes and a mixture of sauces (I have no idea what!) and they just go so well. The Beet Tartare Tostadas was also a splendid surprise. Buttermilk Chicken Tacos and Grilled Brindisa Chorizo Quesadilla were our faves as well. Just make sure that you make reservations on their website. We were there on a Friday evening and I heard that it was an hour wait if you walk-in.”

“We've been to a few Taro restaurants now and always enjoy our visit to each one. The staff are so welcoming and professional in Finchley Central. The food is amazing. We don't go anywhere else for sushi now than Taro. The seaweed salad is delicious too. Could eat it every day. The restaurant and toilets are always immaculately clean too. 100% recommended”

“Had the champagne afternoon tea and it was the best afternoon tea I've ever had ( I've had quite a few!,) food was so nice and the smoked salmon and caviar side was unexpected. Each bit was delicious and staff so polite and attentive and kindly swapped our champagne for white wine. Definitely would recommend and the hotel was lovely too. We had a groupon voucher which made it excellent value for money.”

“Me and my family, a group of 11 people attended O Calhau yesterday for Fado night. It was amazing, my partner lives close by and it was always somewhere we wanted to visit. Food was amazing, the chef was amazing too, she was so welcoming. Being from Madeira ourselves, it felt like being home again. My family travelled far and really enjoyed it too! We will definitely be visiting again! First but not the last time. Muito Obrigada! ❤️”

“My goodness this restaurant is incredible and delicious! We had a big party of 8 people and service was remarkable. Beautiful atmosphere and wide variety of menu options and lots of gluten free options! Alex took such great care of all of us and went out of his way to make sure all of my dishes were celiac friendly! I highly recommend this spot. The Patatas Bravas were particularly delicious! “Relaxing and chilled atmosphere. Beautiful decor. Professional & helpful staff. Large portions, big enough for sharing. I ordered seven vegetarian plates to share with one other person, thinking they would be small, but I had to take three home in a doggy bag as they were so filling. I did however leave room for a dessert :) Every dish was delicious and well presented. I ordered fried aubergine, cod fritters, chickpea & spinach, cheese fritters, asparagus with manchego cheese, patatas bravas, goats cheese salad, coconut tart & ginger ice cream. Cost: £51 I highly recommend this restaurant. I will definitely return. Addendum: Returned again today. Had baby squid with black alioli, boar cheek, chicken croquettes, churros, coffee cheesecake & one Toro beer. £36. Great service again. All dishes were delicious. Toro beer very nice.”

“Gallipoli deserves a 5.0 review. They accommodated us so well when we had our baby shower and our little one’s 1st birthday party as well. They are super baby friendly and all the staffs are amazing! We will definitely come more! Also the food is super delicious! I love all their mezes and kebabs. Highly recommend to everyone who wants authentic experience of Turkish food and culture in London.”

“Lovely little gem in Putney! Beautifully cooked, genuine Spanish food is so hard to come by in London but this place nailed it. The waitress was super helpful at answering our questions and anything she couldn’t answer was directed to the owner who was cooking solo in the kitchen. Had a really nice chat with both of them when settling up the bill at closing. Will be back in the not too distant future to try the rest of the menu!”

“Phenomenal food and service from start to finish. Ordered 5 tapas, one main, and two desserts which were just right for two hungry lads. Shout out to the ham croquettes - the potato filling was super smooth and creamy, while ham was very savoury. Very underrated Spanish restaurant in my opinion, does not feel like this name gets brought up enough in London.”
