The market place payment concept also works great as you can linger a long time while adding to your order. Works for a long transit wait. Better than the commercial lounge.”

The passion fruit martinis were incredible, the brisket was perfectly done, and the place had a great atmosphere. “All the way from South Africa & just looking for some good food & drink before a long trip back home, I stumbled across Big Smoke Taphouse at London Heathrow Terminal 2 & had the absolute privilege of meeting Savio, the server who knew very well I struggling with the QR Code version menu & was eager to assist me & simplify my order & dining experience. Savio was extremely friendly, helpful & patient as we took our time to go through the hard copy menus & eventually opted for Tex Mex Tacos, Pork Burnt Ends, Some Onion Rings & 2 glasses of wine. I was pleasantly surprised with the bursting flavors of the all the food, especially the smokiness of the pork burnt ends & most especially encountering very bland food in England overall, LOL. “My recent stay at this airport hotel was a pleasant surprise. As a chain property near the airport, it offered great convenience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. While the facilities are somewhat dated, the hotel makes up for it with its excellent breakfast. Though the selection was simple, the food was delicious, and the server in the dining area had such a warm and welcoming attitude that it really brightened the start of my day. A solid choice for a comfortable and hassle-free stay before a flight.”

“Stayed for two nights, thanks to a layover coming home from Italy. Perfect location for short term London visits. Took the Elizabeth train to West End one night and caught a bus to Oxford the next day...both conveniently from Heathrow. Room was plenty big enough and comfortable. Staff friendly throughout the stay. On last morning, went from room through airport security in less than 30 minutes. Will gladly stay here again for one- or two-night visits.”

“My visit to wagamama was very good. I was seated by the window. The place was clean and very busy. I ordered a raisukaree curry. I had a free coffee on my app which I was able to redeem. The service was very nice and polite. Everyone was working hard and efficient from what I have seen. A girl named Nik was amazing, she made sure I am all set and looked after. Thanks Nik! Went with 3 of my friends who love to eat out and they all enjoyed the taste of the food, my friends run a restaurant and getting a good comment from them says it all. Staff don’t speak good English but good enough to treat the customers with respect. We ordered chicken shish and lamb shish with extra chips. They got some place to eat in and it’s enough for people who like to have a quick fast food. Many items to choose from menu but highly recommended their grill foods. Lots of competition nearby but they stand out with the quality of food and friendly staff.”

“Stayed for one night. Spacious rooms,well cleaned and facilities are decent. Customer service is really great by the two ladies at reception. Plenty of options for food (Greggs, Burger King, WH smith & Costa coffee.”

“Warm and helpful staff and Manager William was very understanding, patience and cheerful in his work. My friend claimed his free birthday cake from the Costa in Premier Inn terminal 4 a few times yet the staff kept saying they couldn't do it due to different reasons. By the time we reached Heathrow Airport terminal 2, the free gift voucher already expired but the manager William tried his very best to give my friend 50% discount for the cake and help my friend to claim a free drink . It's really not so much about the free food and free drink but the birthday experiences and surprises from the birthday gift from Costa and their staff matter to us more. Thanks again Costa for all the delicious toasties and coffee. I will definitely visit Costa again when l come to UK.”

“After a string of bad reviews I expected a slow, painful affair - but nope, am pleased to report that I had a great meal here, exactly what a weary traveler hopes for. Regarding the food, I give a particular shoutout to the Indian items. I can never get it spicy enough, and while not overwhelming, my request for “as hot as possible” yielded a respectable level of heat and lots of fresh peppers added (delicious!). Service was quick and pleasant, everything came out fairly briskly. They definitely have a captive audience but this was one satisfied customer.”

My travelling companion had the full English breakfast with no complaint. Sorry I didn't catch the name of our server but she was so nice and friendly. Highly recommended for breakfast.”
