Honestly, the best, most authentic, no frills takeaway Italian pizza in south west London - more people need to know about this place! Much love to Fabrizio and the team! “Excellent crispy pizzas. If you like pizzas such as those from Pizza Union (i.e. crispy ones), you'll love those from Pizza Squad as they have a similar style with more and better ingredients! That's surely why it is a bit pricier and well worth the extra quids. I enjoyed the Ham pizza best, the Octopus one was good as well and interesting but not as good as the Ham one. Very easy to order so you can pick up on your way home. Plus they are very friendly. Overall, if you like delicious crispy pizza, then look no further.”

“An absolutely amazing lunch experience! The lovely couple who run this restaurant even opened 30 minutes early just to accommodate us—such a kind gesture. Every dish we tried was exceptional. I’m from the Philippines and deeply love our cuisine, but the chef created such incredible versions of traditional dishes that truly impressed me. The adobo fried chicken was a standout—tender, full of flavour, perfectly crispy, and paired with an incredible sauce. The cucumber salad was fresh and balanced everything beautifully. My friend had the beef tapa burger, and it was a delightful surprise! The patty tasted exactly like authentic beef tapa (which we usually eat with garlic rice), but served as a burger—it was creative, bold, and delicious. My husband had the mushroom adobo, which was rich, hearty, and full of depth. To finish, we were treated to a surprise serving of avocado ice cream—a lovely and refreshing touch that wrapped up the meal perfectly. We also had the chance to chat with the owners, and their passion, creativity, and love for what they do truly shines through—not just in the food, but also in the presentation and attention to detail. This was more of a small family restaurant you would find in Italy or the Balkans where the menu is verbally told and some things were simply not ready at the time we arrived. However, having had the soup and burek we were both very happy with how delicious it was. This food journey has been so yummy & the amount of planning and preparation before the food is even cooked has been eye opening. It has taken my love of curry to another level & with Simi's Mum on hand via FaceTime Video calls to just check on Simi, every dish is now simply outstanding. Don’t take my word for it, try it! “I’ve been to many restaurants, those which include restaurants that have multiple Michelin stars. I am super critical with reviews, but I never thought it would come to the day I would say this.. but this food “is food that brings you back home… back home to your mother”. That’s so rare in this day and age and think how much of an expert someone has to be to create that with Thai food for someone coming from Sri Lankan origin. Every ingredient is fresh, the blend of spices, the quality of meat and the food expertly made brings a dish which is truly homemade and delicious. I have never experienced anything that tastes truly homemade from a restaurant outside the home. I feel great after eating this too compared to other takeaways as it’s so natural. This is hands down the best restaurant in St Albans. Kat and her partner are such a superb couple running this restaurant, they are incredibly kind and accommodated to a special birthday request. They both came out and greeted us, which was super kind of them and proved many things but the biggest.. this is homemade food, food made from the heart. You want to try true Thai food.. don’t bother with the £800 flight, come here - to this very place a drive away in a lovely home situated in St Albans and you will experience it first hand. “It was an absolute pleasure dining here. The only reason I found it was the delicious smell when I was walking past with my wife and saw the reviews. So we decided to eat. From we we walked through the door we were greeted with a smile and kindness. The staff....soo happy which sets the tone for the entire meal. The food is great. The beef Pad Ka pow was recommended to us and it was amazing, garlic and chilli with tender beef topped with a perfect fried eggs. The torpedo prawns crispy and fresh and the fried fish (tilapia) was amazing crunch and flaky. The condiments were amazing and top tier. The atmosphere was cute and a lot of locals come in...the vibe is just unique. Happy staff happy locals nice atmosphere. Highly recommend this to anyone”

“One of the best sushi places in the area! For the price you pay, you get authentic, good quality sushi with a wide range of choices. I usually get it on Deliveroo and occasionally will pop in. The cafe only has two seats so it’s recommended to get takeaway. The chef there is always friendly and makes sure you are happy with your food. The sushi fish selection is varied and has things like butterfish and sea bream which aren’t so common. I’ve never had a disappointing or below standard meal from them. Always delicious and fresh! There is also a mini selection of Japanese products which is wonderful. If you are in the area, you need to come here - don’t bother with any of the other high street places. This is the place for authentic sushi.”
