However when the manufacturer issues a recall notice you have to go to an approved dealer. Kinghams were my closest. Staff were friendly on the telephone making the booking, you get confirmation by text (and a reminder) and I found them to be helpful and knowledgeable in person. During the day I received 2 videos of the work being carried out (airbag replacement) and a call to let me know when the work was completed. “I e been using this mail studio for years. Their value is in how well the place is run. The manager is on top of all customers. Always best to call and book first, but they frequently allow walk ins. I also use their Dermalogica facials, if you go for the 1 h 10 minutes, you get the most awesome massage too. I have visited many of these places over the years, and this time I’m happy to stick with just Orchid Studio. The image show my nails after 2 weeks, as an indication on how well the get stay on.”

“Emma is a great groomer....not just dogs either. She's professional, and what I like best is she's quick. So no hanging about which is good for my slightly nervous dog. An added bonus is she has the shop and a mobile service which covers all bases if your time is restricted. Her prices are very competitive and unlike a lot of groomers she actually gets back to you. Clearly, she's just dog mad. Oh and she does before and after photo's, and has lots of doggie items at great prices.”

“Can't fault Halfords to be honest. They are very reliable and quick with completing jobs. I'm always surprised at how reasonable their prices are and to be fair, I don't think there's really too much of a difference between them and Kwikfit when it comes to general servicing and tyres, BUT Halfords do offer a much greater range of vehicle repairs, parts and consumables. And the one reason why I always choose them is the perks I get from their Motoring Club and the fact that you can spread the cost of repairs and maintenance from 3 months up to a year (depending on your credit status and which plan you choose from the 3 or 4 on offer from Halfords and third party providers that Halfords support for payments). I'm quite pleased with Halfords and for the foreseeable future I guess this bargain hunter is stuck with them... so long as their perks stay good, their work remains infallible and their prices stay right.”

“Booked MoT through bookmygarage website and it was not displayed that I should book the time slot by calling the garage. I could have guessed that myself but when I couldn’t leave the car for the whole day as they requested when I turned up they booked me for the next day and I was done within an hour. Overall very pleasant experience I can say. The car mechanic guy who was helping with lights was very very very nice! The guys sitting at the desk wasn’t either nice nor rude but just a bit “I don’t give a thing”. Which isn’t bad either obviously you just always want people who do care a lot but I can’t tell the job was done well and at super good price so no reason to complain at all! :)”
