“What a fantastic Italian restaurant. Great service - swift and polite without being over bearing. I had the risotto, wow! Friend had Bolognese Calzone and that was absolutely gorgeous too. For dessert I had the chocolate and pistachio torte was which soft and delicate. Well recommended and will return if ever I'm in the area.”

“What a lovely setting for an opera house. In the theatre itself, the seats are comfortable and have great sightlines in the stalls. There's a large orchestra pit and a large stage too. The theatre is a work in progress, and there are still facilities to build. But don't let that put you off! There's enough there for your visit to be comfortable and worthwhile. I saw Gods of the Game today and it was top notch and as good as any opera I've seen in the West End. It's a bit off the beaten track, so you'll need a car to get there unfortunately, but there's plenty of parking and it's not a long drive from South or West London.”

“I recently went to visit Amy for the first time, after not having my hair done since November 2022 by a different hairdresser. Amy has done such an amazing job with my hair, I am so so happy with my hair. It looks incredible and Amy is so lovely and extremely professional. I will definitely be back!”

“Absolutely recommend! I was nervous about having moles removed by plasma pen as I didn’t know anyone who had gone through the procedure. The environment was lovely, ample parking, beautiful clinic and Rebecca put me at ease and made the experience really positive! It didn’t hurt too much, just for seconds at a time and I was so pleased with the results of the first 3 that I went back only days later for another 2, the healing process has been very fast and I am very happy with the results. Very reasonably priced treatment compared to other methods of mole removal with minimal scarring too.”

“Wonderful. That probably doesn't do it justice. The location is idyllic. The house is gorgeous and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. We sat outside as it was a lovely day with a spectacular view across the valley. We went for the set menu. It's not cheap but actually it's not unreasonable for the quantity and quality of the food. A few surprises (ants - deliberately - on the sushi) which were utterly delicious. We had different choices and every one of them was fantastic. Service was brilliant - friendly and informative - and the whole experience was unrushed, relaxed and sublime. Couldn't have had a better celebration of our anniversary. I also can't reccommend it enough.”

“Great selection, and having ordered multiple times, I can say that the food is always very good in terms of quality, quantity and value for money. Friendly delivery people too. Only issue I have had (and not just once) is with the timed order function on the website. On one occasion, it arrived 90 minutes early and I had to send it back - we simply weren’t ready because we were in the middle of some DIY (which is why I ordered it for a set time). It’s happened since, albeit not with such an extreme difference between the time for which I requested delivery and the time food arrived. I’ve defaulted to just ordering later in the evening so that the delivery time is broadly the one I’d have chosen if the timed order function could be relied on. Like I say, that is the only gripe - just something of which to be aware if you’re someone that likes to place timed orders.”

“Absolutely delightful! We enjoyed a lovely lunch at the Garden House, where we were treated to an impressive selection of drinks, including a variety of refreshing non-alcoholic cocktails. The staff was exceptionally attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, enhancing our dining experience. The food was delectable, and the dessert was wonderfully indulgent! We took a stroll through some of the gardens, though we found that many areas are reserved for members or guests only. Overall, it was a memorable experience!”

“This restaurant is amazing. The staff are ALL superb. Their skill is clear and their empathy and kindness is exceptional. We went here for my Mum's 93rd Birthday they could not have gone out of their way more to make the occasion special. The food is totally excellent and worth every penny. Jemima our waitress was brilliant. The hostess Annabel was the best we have ever seen. She was totally " on " everything that was happening in the whole restaurant. Josh the manager was empathetic and impressive. The venue is unbeatable. Choose this restaurant for the special things and the every day events and they will make everything special.”

“We are visiting from Australia for five weeks, and just called in for a drink. Atmosphere was so good and the girl who served us was so inviting we said we would come back another day before we left. Two weeks later we stopped in for another drink and decided to stay for a meal. Wonderful food, same welcoming waitress again. The cousins we were staying with who live in Horsley who hadn’t been to the restaurant stall, heard all about this place. We ALL went back today and shared a wonderful lunch, our same waitress was there and a wonderful older man who told lots of ‘nice’ jokes. Love this place. “We visited for the first time on 18/12/25, the interior was beautiful with a roaring fire, the staff were attentive, friendly and very welcoming. We had the Turkey pie to share, full of meat, with excellent pastry! We had the chocolate yuke log dessert which was phenomenal! We will be going back as it was a lovely experience.”

“A recommended choice if you look for good food, often with a twist to keep it interesting. Highlight for us were the muscles, fish, pumpkin stuffed pasta, the very low alcohol beer and deserts. But I would trust the chef with anything. Everything was cooked on point. The staff was lovely and happy to ensure we were comfortable and looked after. We spend a bit more on drinks however the meal prices were entirely worth the price and reasonable. A real food highlight for the area and definitely the choice for bringing guests. A lovely pub, staff seemed very nice too even though it was hot and they were bringing out lots of food to customers. Toilets were clean, plenty of parking out the front and side plus a car charger which is convenient.”

“One of the best pork belly dishes I've ever had! This was my first visit, and I was very impressed with the service, food quality, staff attentiveness, and overall atmosphere. We went there for Sunday roast, and I can honestly say that I will drive again two hours just to enjoy their food again. The food and drinks prices were also reasonable. I loved how welcoming the place is and the terrace outside. Thank you and I'm sure I will return.”

“For me going for an Indian isn’t just about the food but the experience. We went on a Tuesday night and the staff were sensational, they greeted us at the door with a smile and even complimented my friends new leather jacket he was wearing. The food was brilliant and for our step father he said “it took him back home” (he is of Indian descent although born in Mozambique). The chef special of a lamb shank was brilliant too. The ambience was great with some fanatic music really setting the scene for a great night and traditional food. The only downside was as we went at 6pm on a Tuesday there was a slight wait on food due to it being so busy. My only advice was book in advance as you’ll struggle to get a seat.”

“I never do reviews but I can’t thank the staff enough for how accommodating they all were. I stayed with my little brother who has autism and the staff at the front desk ensured he was comfortable when things were a little bit loud in the reception by asking us if we would like to go in the back room. The restaurant staff were also very accommodating to his needs but a man called Marquise who works in the restaurant is a real life angel!! He really went above and beyond for us ensuring my brother had everything he needed and helping me feel comfortable. It can sometimes be nerve wrecking going somewhere new with a child who has special needs, especially one who only eats certain foods but Marquise really really went out of his way to meet my brothers needs whilst also reassuring me that anything I need to please just ask! We need more people like Marquise in this world! If you are a SEN parent or career you know how much of a difference people like him make to your trip. Thank you!!”

“Friendly and polite service and delicious food. The pizza is authentically Italian and very tasty - and the base has a fantastic texture. Dessert was also delicious and this is a great little local restaurant. Can't wait to come back and try the pasta!”
