“I called up Adam and his sales director Jeremy three weeks before coming over from Belgium for a London weekend with some ideas on what I would like for two suits, asking if they would make any adjustments in a short time. Protests in London meant I could only reach them for a first visit on the Sunday, but by Monday early afternoon, not only had they helped select the perfect two tailored suits I needed, they had also adjusted them, made to measure. The quality of the tailoring is superb as are the materials. The greatest mod clobber experience I have ever had. Thanks.”

The food was delicious very good portion size no waiting around served quickly and given the time to enjoy the food and not rushed to clear the table, they do have a 2hr dining policy but not strictly enforced. It was a lovely relaxing evening and definitely worth it”

“With a background in kaiseki, Chef Yasu’s cooking always carries a strong sense of seasonality. This visit, set at the turn of summer to autumn, saw two styles of plating shift from vivid colours to the muted tones of fallen leaves, wheat, chestnuts and early autumn earth. The restaurant focuses on ageing, and the highlights were unmistakably the scallop and squid. Although Japanese ingredients in China are far superior to London’s in general, the flavour developed from this ice-water ageing technique was surprisingly deep and expressive. Inaniwa Udon ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Intense katsuobushi umami with a touch of sudachi’s bright sweet–sour freshness. Hand Roll ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Crisp nori, creamy minced tuna, rich and silky — packed with pure umami. “Wonderful. That probably doesn't do it justice. The location is idyllic. The house is gorgeous and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. We sat outside as it was a lovely day with a spectacular view across the valley. We went for the set menu. It's not cheap but actually it's not unreasonable for the quantity and quality of the food. A few surprises (ants - deliberately - on the sushi) which were utterly delicious. We had different choices and every one of them was fantastic. Service was brilliant - friendly and informative - and the whole experience was unrushed, relaxed and sublime. Couldn't have had a better celebration of our anniversary. I also can't reccommend it enough.”

Their Lahori Nashta is absolutely amazing — from the crispy halwa puri to the rich, flavorful nihari and chana, everything tastes just like home. The parathas are perfectly cooked, the lassi is refreshing, and the overall vibe makes you feel like you’re sitting in a classic Lahore dhaba. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the portions are generous. Every dish is full of authentic spices and aroma — you can tell it’s made with passion and care.
