“I had the most amazing experience at Rock and Rose in Richmond. The food was great - my friend and I ordered the crispy tempura shrimp, the chicken milanese, the lamb leg steak and sticky toffee pudding for dessert - can't fault anything, tasted amazing! The drinks were delicious too, the bartenders put on a whole show for us and it added to the experience. The staff were all so lovely and hospitable, I loved the decor and ambience inside and it was super packed which goes to show how popular it is. Thank you so much for having us, this place is a hidden gem for sure! Can't wait to return ✨️”

“I went to The Princess Head for a Sunday roast, mainly because it was featured in the American TV series Ted Lasso, and I’ve been exploring the hidden gems of London lately. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from the food since touristy spots can be hit or miss, but wow… it completely blew me away. We ordered both the chicken roast and the lamb roast. Both were delicious, though slightly on the expensive side. I had the lamb roast, and it was beyond words; beautifully tender, literally falling off the bone, with rich, velvety gravy, golden roast potatoes cooked to perfection, and creamy cauliflower cheese that tied everything together. The chicken roast was fantastic too, but the lamb was definitely the star of the show. The ambience was warm and inviting, full of charm, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout. You’ll spot quite a few American tourists enjoying the vibe, which adds to the lively, welcoming feel of the place. To top it off, the pub sits right opposite a beautiful little park, and the surrounding street has that quintessential English charm, dotted with small shops selling things related to the show. All in all, it’s the kind of spot that makes you fall in love with London all over again, a true gem I’d highly recommend! ✨”

“We have just rounded off a fantastic weekend trip to watch the rugby with a fantastic Sunday roast at the White Horse in Richmond. A really brilliant proper pub with a superb Sunday lunch menu that catered for all our family. The Pork Belly bites were incredible and the Cauliflower Cheese you could eat on its own… a must try! The staff were brilliant and easily the nicest roast I’ve had in years!”

“By far the best pub in Richmond. We regularly go to the Mitre, as they serve really fresh cask ales that change regularly. They also serve fantastic pizza’s where you can choose your own toppings or have the monthly special. We often get the dough balls as they are the perfect accompaniment to a few pints! Definitely get down there if your in the area!”

“I’ve driven past Sift for the last two years, but today I finally stopped in—and I’m so glad I did. This place is a true Kew gem, serving up smooth cortados and mouth-watering cakes and pastries. “Very elegant, nice and quiet place for breakfast or lunch. Feeling warm and cozy sitting by the side of the window. It’s shame that the menu is not available today but still have variety food selection including toast, sandwiches, cake, tart or cookies etc. Latte smell really good and hot. The seller patiently explain to us what ingredients for the sandwich while my little one can’t eat spicy. It’s a 5 stars cafe!”

“The best Breakfast in the area!! Proper English Breakfast, delicate coffee, super friendly staff, not noisy inside at all... That is what you need for a hangover :) Seriously: the owner/boss is a great guy and it is not only my opinion, the staff says the same too and maybe this is the recipe for Cappuccino success. Always smiling Klaudia and Asia will help you with delicious choices, been there so many times, just love it! Kids friendly place too, no matter how busy the place is. “We had our Work Christmas Lunch on 18/12/2025, the Christmas menu was AMAZING! Plenty of food on the plate, we ordered some extra trimmings, which wasn't necessarily needed but definitely happy we had them as the food was sooo good we just could stop eating! Service was friendly and the whole lunch was a success. All my team commented afterwards how great the Christmas Lunch was this year. Thank you very much!”

“A decent pub, I liked it. Probably because of its proximity to the park, the pub was crowded on Sunday, with as many dogs as people. I was also with my dog, so the atmosphere was pleasant. My friends and I sat by the fireplace with a fire, and in the hall, there was a faint smell of smoke, and the dull crackling of logs in the fire could be heard. The Sunday roast was delicious. I liked the half chicken, though the potatoes weren't tasty. The cider is the best you can get, Aspal. A wonderful Sunday before Christmas. I recommend that you visit here too.”

They transformed what could have been a stressful time into a lovely family occasion. Food quality was lovely and a perfect spacious setting and atmosphere to have a large group together.
