“We were researching a riser recliner chair at at Orpington where we met Jon who could not have been more helpful. HSL are made in Yorkshire and come in various sizes from petite to Super Grandee. Most of the chairs will lift up to 25 stones and come in an amazing amount of fabrics including leather. The leather option although lovely costs almost 1/3 more. Jon explained the "fitting" aspect which is very sensible checking on hip width, leg length, height from the floor and 4 other aspects. We were shown probably 100's of fabric, we were offered samples and those they didn't have were posted to us very quickly. We have decided not to buy at the moment but if in the future I would not hesitate to return. The shop is very well appointed and I think there were 3 other lady staff members who were also very helpful. The shop also sells non electric chairs and 3 piece suites which looked very good but we didn't try any as that was not what we wanted. There is a VERY small car park at the rear probably only 3 spaces so if able to walk I would suggest parking elsewhere to save a tight 3+ turn to exit.”

“Our family had the pleasure of recent sofa purchase taken care by Nicole Lippi one of the customer advisor - She was super attentive with great customer service skills and had plenty of suggestions in various sofa variation and advised on design and specifications as we visited the store twice. I'd recommend Nicole to any ongoing customers visiting the store. She's definitely one for the best advisors we've experienced and made our purchase seamless. After care was great too, Nicole followed up with queries related to invoicing and had even called to update on resolution. We will surely visit Sofology Orpington again for any furniture purchases. “Rebecca supplied the most gorgeous flowers for our wedding. From the very first Zoom call, it was clear how knowledgeable and passionate she is. She advised on which flowers would likely be in bloom at the time of our wedding and carefully talked through different varieties and colours to make sure everything matched our theme. She also created a thoughtful design portfolio with photos and ideas, which was really helpful to revisit during the planning process. Rebecca made my bouquet, bridesmaids’ bouquets, and buttonholes, and also supplied buckets of flowers so we could arrange our own venue flowers. My bouquet was even more beautiful than imagined, filled with stunning British-grown blooms. The buckets were overflowing with flowers, I was so impressed with how many she fitted in. We had so many different varieties and textures. Her sustainable approach was also hugely evident, she kindly offered a selection of florist vases and props to borrow for just a deposit, which was such a thoughtful alternative to buying everything new. In the week before the wedding, when the summer weather had made delphiniums hard to source, Rebecca stayed in touch and suggested alternatives. On the day of delivery, she went above and beyond by managing to find some after all, making a special trip to one of her suppliers. That extra effort made such a difference and the delphiniums were so tall and amazing! So many guests commented on how beautiful the flowers were. Working with Rebecca was a pleasure from start to finish and one of the highlights of the wedding planning process. She is friendly, professional, and talented, and we would wholeheartedly recommend her.”

“I called The Mobile Coffee Bean at 5:30pm one evening, hoping that they could perform a miracle, and provide a coffee bar for the next day. Somehow they pulled it off! Chris was really friendly and helpful and got everything in place that night. Kieran and Alex arrived on time the next day. They were super nice and got everything set up quickly. I know that none of this matters much if the coffee is terrible but of course it wasn’t. I picked a flat white, which I find a bit hit and miss, but it was lovely. It is very rare for me to write a review but this is thoroughly deserved.”

I spent time with both Natasha and Sally at their shop who inspired me with their ideas and suggestions for suitable flowers. I wanted something very natural to reflect my husband’s farming career and they excelled themselves to produce the most glorious arrangement which took my breath away and many others besides.. Their attention to detail was amazing with many little touches like blackberries and herbs. They had just caught it so right and it has even lasted well with a bit of misting and I am enjoying it almost a week later. The young Italian “Bossman” and myself talk in Italian and his passion and love for his venue is obvious to see. I bought a Summer home in Inverigo (a province of Comi about 20 miles North of Milan in 2005) and our Family try to go on vacation there every year. Highly recommend Primo Caffe without a doubt it is the BEST COFFEE and serves a beautiful selection of Authentic Italian food, in Orpington. Caveat : it can get SUPER BUSY (which is a good sign of an excellent venue). Ciao”

“Absolute little gem in Green Street Green. Had 4 lunches this week and loved every single one. Menu is so different from all the rest of the other cafés. Plenty of vegetarian options to choose from. Had a different dessert every day, felt spoilt for choice. The best carrot cake I've ever eaten, and the blondie and the brownie... My partner had not fried, but baked big breakfast and absolutely LoVe it. Noticed owner knew his customers by name, very special for me. And the coffee is indeed the best. We will miss not working in the area and getting fed by Belmondo”
