“Came for a quick drink and a little bite to eat.First time we'd been here. Smart place, groovy decor and relaxed atmosphere. Really friendly, welcoming and helpful service. Nice choice of dishes, we just ordered a few different starters. Very tasty but portion sizes were a tad small, especially with the octopus. Very easy drinking house lager. Would love to try the main courses at summer point in the future. Prices very reasonable.”

“A Hidden Gem with Wonderful Improvements! I’ve been visiting this bakery as of recent, and I have to say, the improvements since the change of staff have been incredible. It’s always been a lovely little spot, but now it truly shines! The selection of cakes and food is fantastic—everything is fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The coffee is brilliant too, with a great range of options to suit everyone’s taste. Whether you fancy a strong espresso or a creamy latte, they get it just right every time. The staff are a real credit to the place—so friendly, polite, and genuinely welcoming. It’s a small, family-run business, and you can tell they put their heart into everything they do. Cleanliness is clearly a top priority here. The ingredients are always fresh, and the tables, chairs, and cutlery are spotless. It’s also reassuring to see their hygiene rating proudly displayed at the front of the shop. One of the best things about this bakery is the space. It’s not cramped like some cafés, and there’s even a lovely garden where you can sit outside and enjoy your food in the fresh air. It’s such a peaceful spot to relax, especially on a sunny day. Given the rise in the cost of living, I also really appreciate that the prices here are very reasonable. You get great quality food and drinks without feeling like you’re overspending, which makes it even easier to keep coming back! All in all, I highly recommend this bakery. It’s a warm, welcoming place with great food, fantastic coffee, and lovely people running it. If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out!”

“Great choice of lovely feminine clothes for women. Classic styles that don't 'age' and always look good. I buy from them regularly as I don't see their clothes anywhere else and other stores don't offer the style of clothes I like. Can be pricey but comparable to M&S. Would recommend for ladies who want well made clothes, unusual materials and styles.”

“I went in to Iceland today, my ms was giving me trouble so was draining to shop and get buses. Some angel of a lady who works there I think her name is Laura but not 100 percent noticed I wasn't right plus noticed I was upset and this beautiful human being offered to pay for a cab for me , what a kind caring and compassionate lady we had a moment and I will never forget her heart. I declined the cab but the amazing man who stands by the door pushed my trolly to the bus stop. I jst want to say thankyou I Will remember your empathy and kindness and just want to let you know your both amazing ❤️”

“Great selection I'd wanted something cheap and easy for lunch as was hungry and at the end of the month £ was limited... id popped into Iceland as more convenient but except for the reductions which were fab and I had to resist as was for fruit which I already had; i had to go the long way round to Morrisons but was worth it as I got exactly what I wanted.. aisles seemed a bit of a maze and despite there not being loads of us in there I was asked to 'excuse me' twice possibly by the same person; maybe because the reduced section is very close to a pillar. Easy to get to checkouts; glad I didn't need to navigate the rest of the store and all seemed to be working which made a nice change... I hadn't noticed the kiosk just inside which seemed well stocked for an eve quicker visit .. glad I made the effort.. staff seemed nice too, very clean and uncluttered for a weekday lunchtime during the holidays.. thanks”

“I’ve been here couple of times. The staff are really kind and welcoming. The shop is really clean and posh looking which is amazing. There are Exotic fruits I haven’t heard of and they are high quality. Bit pricey, but high quality. It’s worth to try. There are whole range of vegs and organic items and I would 10/10 recommend it.”

“My kitchen has been transformed from a purely functional room, to a space the whole family loves spending time in. I wasn't expecting very much when I first went to visit Piqu as I'd already seen a design from another company that I liked. But meeting with Adrian, I knew Piqu would be my choice. Adrian was able to take into account my vision for the kitchen, how I use it and my budget, to give me something that surpassed my expectations in terms of design, layout, quality and beauty. The choice of colour, 'Moonlight Green', along with the unique Sensa Sant Angelo granite is a combination that gives me so much joy!! Adrian's expertise was key in ensuring the kitchen was designed to work with how I intended to use it, and what I planned to store in its cupboards. He was very patient and accommodated my back and forth on some of the finer details. But more exceptional was his attitude when dealing with issues that arose, which is inevitable in a project of that scale (the kitchen was part of a whole house extension and renovation). He took responsibility to ensure all problems were resolved, quibble-free, and to a high standard. I 100% recommend Piqu to anyone who's looking for a new kitchen.”
