“By chance I went into this store to look around while waiting for the bus to work. I discovered a most delicious plum jam filled doughnut which didn't make it to the bus. I also got a nice bit of cheesecake which I shared with colleagues. The lady opening was so warm and friendly, I wish I could've spent more time chatting with her.”

The staff are so friendly with a real family vibe, and having lived in the area all my life I would say this restaurant has never lost its quality and a real asset to our community ! “What an absolutely incredible experience I had finding this random gem in Orpington when out with my mum on May 3rd bank holiday. This was before restrictions were lifted so we were seated outside but given blankets to wrap up in, and had the most amazing service from our waitress Karina! She was so attentive and just a star!! It was soooo windy but that didn’t dampen our experience whatsoever. We each had a managal combo plate (spicy chicken and lamb chops which were humongous) with bulgur wheat, spicy rice, and 2 types of salad. The home made bread was lush. Cooked to perfection and even given mint tea and baklava on the house after! Couldn’t recommend this place more and thank you Ozzy for stopping to chat with us after! And Karina for being such a genuine sweetheart when catering to us. Can’t wait to come back for my mums birthday, delicious food, fantastic prices, and fabulous staff!”

There always seems to be issues with loan cars which is quite frustrating but Liva did her best to reschedule my appointment to accommodate a loan vehicle. Liva is a credit to the service centre as she goes above and beyond for her customers and despite her challenges she is always smiling which aids in de-escalating situations when things go wrong.”

“Our kitchen was looking decidedly tired and dark so an upgrade was needed. My first choice of kitchen designer had recently gone out of business so we decided to try the Kitchen Doctor. From the first visit to the showroom to the final completion, we have been delighted with our choice. The designer understood exactly what we wanted and came up with innovative ideas to overcome some structural problems. All of the fitters were highly skilled, very tidy and a pleasure to have in the home. There were a few supply problems but these were doggedly pursued by the company and resolved quickly. I have no hesitation in recommending the Kitchen Doctor.”

“Had such a gorgeous lunch here yesterday for my sisters birthday. There were 14 of us including 5 feral children and the waiting staff were all so patient and lovely. Particular shout out to our main waiter Tom who was absolutely amazing, so helpful and smiley and never made us feel like a pain! Nothing was too much trouble. Food was lovely, big portions and nice quality. The play area is of course great for the kids. Will definitely be back - thank you!”

“I went in to Iceland today, my ms was giving me trouble so was draining to shop and get buses. Some angel of a lady who works there I think her name is Laura but not 100 percent noticed I wasn't right plus noticed I was upset and this beautiful human being offered to pay for a cab for me , what a kind caring and compassionate lady we had a moment and I will never forget her heart. I declined the cab but the amazing man who stands by the door pushed my trolly to the bus stop. I jst want to say thankyou I Will remember your empathy and kindness and just want to let you know your both amazing ❤️”

“I’m one of those shoppers who scrutinise the labels to check what ingredients everything has as well as trying to eat as ‘clean’ as possible. I will shop in 3-4 supermarkets to cut down my weekly expenditure but recently, Aldi is my ‘Go To’ store. I have to say that I am seriously impressed with the quality ( and the price ) of all fresh meats, hams, chicken and fish. I also love that their fresh produce mostly comes from British farms. I am not vegetarian but there is a good selection to choose from if you are. Gluten free produce is also available. I can recommend their Sirloin steaks, Fresh Salmon, Cooked and uncooked Chicken Breasts, Beef ( joint and minced) Wiltshire Ham and their eggs are extra good value. On those items alone, I save between £10-15 per shop. I can also recommend Aldi ice creams/lollies ( special treat days) as they taste just as good as the branded ones but considerably cheaper. It’s a pleasant ‘quick’ shop but I have to admit that I spend a ridiculous amount of time down the ‘Isle of Shame’ Everyone loves a bargain right?!!”

“I ordered the jerk chicken with a grape soda, order was made quickly and was hot. Great portion for the asking price, steamed vegetables were delicious, rice was nice and savoury and the chicken was falling off the bone. Can not recommend enough, very cool little place.”

“The workers are really kind and are really patient. The tables are always clean, and you can always get , whether that's for one person or 5. They have sandwiches, hot drinks, water, and orange juice, so whatever you might want, they have.”

“Eddies is a friendly off licence and grocery shop. Owner is very much interested in customer feed back both to improve service and improve the range of product. Parking always available either in the front of the shop or nearby free car park which is only couple of minutes away. All day to day essentials are well stocked up. Some halal products such as sausages and salami are available in shop. Owner is willing to take orders for meat which can be delivered the following day however I have not tried this service yet. Overall a pleasant shopping experience every time you go in. Finally a much needed late night off licence and grocery for the area.”
